Talia cut my dog Baloo and did an amazing job. She was able to get him in on short notice. Her work was exceptional. If you are in Santa Fe, I would highly recommend Talia’s services on your fur babies.

Beautifully decorated place, Talia is quite artistic and it shows in her grooming skills - she did a good job on my toy poodle. However, I won't be back: I was intimidated and actually hurt to tears (I hide them) - Talia has a brusque personality and is quite efficient - she did an excellent job. $85 + tax for a 7-pound poodle - No comment - it was a bit more than usual, but SF is an expensive area. HOWEVER, I wanted to leave when CC snapped at her (didn't bite) and the lady mentions 'liability' She grabbed my dog and started combing her ears and CC screeched and snapped. Despite her years of experience, Talia is definitely rougher than any other groomer we've used. She doesn't show any warmth toward the dog. CC is 3-1/2 and is normally groomed about every 3-4 weeks - so, more than 50 grooming by many different groomers. She started telling me how matted CC is - I was surprised because I had been combing her almost daily. Talia challenged me to show her that I could comb it but I admit I'm not an experienced groomer - my comb is different and I start with different equipment. I tried to show her how I do it in small sections, not dragging the comb from the roots right away, but gave up, because Talia kept stepping back and telling me 'show me', and how many years experience she had . She was probably right, but her people skills are a bit lacking. I know CC's hair tangles easily, but I'd never seen what I'd consider 'mats'. Hard balls of hair. I cut Talia some slack because I too can be a bit brusque and 'git 'er done' in my ways, but next to this lady, I'm a marshmallow . Then the lady mentions liability "I need my hands to work" if CC bites. I IMMEDIATELY wanted to leave- I don't know this person, and I don't want to get into a lawsuit and end up with her owning our home. I definitely should have left right then. I was trying to politely get out of there - assuring the lady I didn't want CC biting anyone - I was in tears. And I do NOT like to hear words like "liability" in this litigious society. But the lady changed and kept saying, we'll let's see how she does - I'll call you. I admit I was uneasy, VERY uneasy about that "L" word. But she called a couple hours later and said CC is ready. She said CC behaved beautifully after I left and she was evidently able to remove the mats from her ears after all. I'm still kinda hurt about the veiled threat, so I'm not bothering with a photo. Regardless of what the lady says, I know for a fact that no other groomer had anything but praise for her behavior, and I know she has never been reported to be a biter. that's all I can say. I also know the lady's ways intimidated and upset ME - never happened before. And I know a threat when I hear one.

Fortunately, She didn’t groom my dog because her phone manners are rude and unprofessional. I spoke to Talia. If this is the energy on the phone I can’t imagine her energy towards dogs when no one is looking. Protect your dogs because first impression and energy doesn’t lie.

Talia REALLY helped us out with an urgent grooming need. She fit us in last minute and did a great job bathing our dog who was skunked. Very grateful!

I thought this would be a good place for my teacup poodle When I called. I was told what was necessary for her to be groomed and She got me in that day. After getting all the necessary ppr wrk I arrived 20 minutes early to an attitude because I was a little early, and her shaking her head no as I pulled up my documents, then she came up with another thing that was "necessary" which I didn't have and wasn't told I needed. (But was told it was not necessary for grooming by other groomer's.) But with a horrible attitude I was sent away with no consideration for the trouble or distance I had to go through. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

This is my third time back to Talia with my golden retriever. I've been happy with the outcome every visit. Even on short notice they were able to work me in. Great service!

We tried Talia out for the first time and AWFUL! First of all she did not listen to how we wanted our dog to be cut and instead shaved him down completely. Our dog is a golden doodle and we prefer him to be a little fluffy and now he looks ridiculous! Second of all she said our dogs snaps and is aggressive, my dog has gone to three other groomers and never has this been said. I have never seen him snap at anything EVER, human or dog. She then proceeded to say if we were to bring him back SHE WOULD NEED TO USE TRANQUILIZER TO CUT HIS HAIR! WTF I have never heard of this EVER!! Lastly she charged $200 for this service!! Terrible! Do not take your dog here, they might be getting tranquilized and then your paying $200 for a sh*tty hair cut! I will be reporting them to the Attorney General and whoever needs to be informed that this business may be doing this to dogs

Talia is always friendly and I feel comfortable when I leave my guy. Her grooming is . I have a Bichon and to find a groomer to groom him the way I want was impossible. She is willing to get you in when u want and is done in a reasonable time.

I called on a whim, realizing most groomers are busy and scheduled out weeks/months in advance. Talia called me back & was able to get my dog in for grooming. He looks great, smells wonderful. Will definitely take him in again!
