The staff at Southwest Care Center Pharmacy takes the time to look at you as an individual and understand your needs. This is the first time in my life when I felt as if a pharmacist had my best interest in mind.

After years of suffering a certain big box pharmacy (think 3 initials), I have finally made the switch to Southwest Care Alameda Pharmacy. Firstly, they actually answer the phone…and probably within 3 rings! Staff are friendly, helpful, professional and do an amazing job of giving the best price available for prescriptions. I seriously feel like I’m dreaming.

Best pharmacy in town since del Norte closed down. . They are so kind and patient and non judgmental..it is well worth the fact that they aren't open on the weekends. Just to have this great service and kind people.

My wife and I were on a vacation to Santa Fe in late May and once we got there, we realized we hadn't packed enough of my main blood pressure medicine to get me through the rest of the trip. Because we had some hikes planned for the day ahead, I knew I needed to be taking it. I looked up the best pharmacies in Santa Fe and this one came in on top. I called them and spoke to Dustin and he told me that if I could have the prescription called in by my doctor, he could get it fill yet that morning. I called my doctor and gave them the fax number and I received a call back from Dustin within the hour that it had been received and he would have it filled immediately. We went by the pharmacy about an hour later and picked it up with no hitch. It is nice to see such customer service and compassion from a business I had never used before and would probably not be in a position to need them again. Five stars did not seem like enough!

My medication is extremely scarce right now and the staff at SW went above and beyond to help me and get my meds. When I called several times I had to speak with a few different staff and each one was very polite and helpful and they genuinely wanted to help. I just found my new Pharmacy ?

The folks at Southwest Care Pharmacy on Harkle are great! They always go the extra mile to help, filling prescriptions quickly if needed, tracking down refills, calling if there’s an issue. Very different than the national chains I’ve dealt with. I highly recommend them.

Southwest Care Pharmacy Harkle is the best! The staff takes the time to listen and they care. They all go above and beyond to help but personally Felice has helped me greatly. They deliver, ship or you can curbside pick up. So many choices. Thank you all!

Outstanding customer service, cost saving options, and communication. Will continue to come here as much as possible. Having gone to Walgreens and CVS in Santa Fe, SCCP has changed the experience of going to a pharmacy.

The best pharmacy ever! Staff are kind, courteous, and helpful. Service is quick and easy. Copays are considerably less than other pharmacies.

I have been to 2 of these locations and both the service and skill is horrible .If your in luck and the dr is there for more than a year you are lucky. Then wait time is any where from 30 min to and hour and a half . The amount of paper work required to even see a dr is inconceivable , when all the info in your chart is the same they still want an up date . I clearly said to them in their face THAT THEY NEVER LOOK AT THE INFO , they assured me they do . I said ok lets see , I put that I was transgendered diabetic and pregnant , 3 of the largest red flags there are in medicine NO ONE EVEN SAID A WORD ABOUT IT EVEN AFTER MULTIPLE VISITS . This place is a joke , but I will have to say they do have some good doctors Hanna Esparza is awesome , if ony I could get in to see her .

I can't speak for actually USING this pharmacy, but if the experience is anything like their phone etiquette, I'm sure it's fantastic! I called them this morning to see if the pharmacy had a certain medication in stock, and although they didn't, the young lady I spoke with was incredibly helpful and gave me pertinent information about the name of the medication, and because of this, I was actually able to have better luck finding it somewhere else. After calling a handful of other pharmacies this morning and getting nowhere, the fact that she took just a few minutes to actually talk to me and answer my questions I appreciate so much!

I have been a patient established with the Southwest Care Center for approximately a year and a half. I am temporarily in Texas taking care of my veterinarian husband who has stage 4 prostate cancer. Ten hours away. And 9 months away taking care of him for me. My omnipod pump no longer works and was replaced with a new pump. Due to extreme stress my blood sugar is averaging 322. I can not turn on my old pump to get the input for the new pump. I called and they told me to basically F off. And of course given that I am very frustrated in my plight, I asked them if they were saying exactly that. I own a home and am a resident of New Mexico. I would say that there are few there with critical thinking on how to help a person in an alarming situation to just help with inputing data into a pump goes way below their compassion level. By the way , you must coordinate setting up appointments. You can't just make them for me and expect me to attend them. If I haven't made them myself sometimes I don't even know about them because I am super busy caring for my husband. I take my husband to 12 appointments per month. They told me that I would have to come in for a personal appointment. I am 10 hours away. Even MD Anderson does telemedicine 4 hours away for my husband. Given that I am a retired department head from two university medical centers, I cannot recommend Southwest Care for diabetics. They do not have the compassion.

This pharmacy is amazing! I am a patient at Southwest Care Clinic, which gives them a chance to interact quickly with my provider, but I believe they will give the same service to someone who goes elsewhere for healthcare. They always go the extra mile and find workarounds for any problem. They are especially mindful of the problems faced by low-income patients. The staff is friendly and infinitely patient. I highly recommend them.

Hello Southwest Care. I was wondering if you are aware that the Harkle Road clinics waiting room resembles a very tiered bus station. Come on you guys should be able to offer clients a inviting, comfortable and visually pleasing atmosphere while waiting to be called. Compared to your other clinics, Harkle Road clinic waiting room is depressing. Step up and create a space that reflects an appreciation for your clients. I invite whoever's responsiblity for the interior of the clinic to take action today not in tomorrow land!!!

well it used to be 5 star care. now it's 3rd world care. the medical director that replaced Dr gallant clearly has no business running a medical office of any size. All the long time staff has left, the new staff are impolite and call you a liar after you get angry for waiting an hour to see the phlebotomist, who went to lunch without anyone telling you were there. the same thing happened today. between 30 and 45 minutes waiting (I know because I picked up my meds at the phar
