Everyone was very nice and compassionate. Wonderful people who care about animals. They even have a separate cat section.

Vet tech's and Dr. Hunter were very attentive and caring. They took their time to explain what they were doing, what the lab results were, and how to move forward with a care plan for our senior cat. Very kind and patient. Heard our questions and took their time to answer them thoroughly.

Had to go to a few places to identify my cat's chronic health problems. Every person on the staff is very kind and caring, and Dr. Dobesh provides excellent care, highly recommended!

Check-in was easy and the wait time was brief. Our Vet Tech was very sweet and Dr. De La Torre took great care of our dog. We went in for a wellness check but she diagnosed something that with early treatment could be taken care of easily. She talked us through everything in a very thoughtful and thorough manner. Very appreciative of the staff at Smith and will continue to take my pets in for care there.

We had an outstanding experience. While traveling, our dog was hurt and needed to be seen by a vet. We stopped by the hospital, and they managed to squeeze us in. Everyone was very accommodating. They got Cali fixed up, and we felt they charged a very reasonable amount. I wish we could find a vet like this at home.

2 hour wait. Paid a lot of money with pretty much nothing to show for it. It’s been 2 weeks still have not received any medication. They should have done some treatment until the medication comes in the mail. I wasn’t given any options for any other forms of treatment no follow up appointment was mentioned. And only one of the issues my dog has was addressed. Probably the expensive issue. Maybe my fault I didn’t ask TWICE about the heart murmur because they were focused on his breathing. It is almost impossible to speak to a vet. So I have to make another trip to the vet to talk about the heart murmur and pay for another visit because this company only cares how big your wallet is. The vets and staff are nice but the way they run the place is a joke. Only take your animals to Smiths if you like paying a lot for nothing.

Be prepared to wait. The office must be very short staffed because it is hours before my cat was seen. I have been here 3 times in the last month for my cat. The first visit, I arrived at around 8am with 2 people in front of me and it took 1.5 hours to be called back to be seen. Second visit, I arrived at 7:30am when the clinic opened with 3 people in front of me and it took 3 hours to be see. Third visit, I arrived at 8:15am with 6 people in front of me and had to wait 1.5 hours. Maybe this is normal everywhere. I’m not sure. Bring a book or homework or something solid to do because it is hours of waiting time.
Other than that, the staff is great! The doctors are very intelligent and helpful. Everyone is very professional and friendly.

Dr. Dobesh was wonderful. She explained the procedure she was going to perform and before approaching my gal she took time to let her get familiar. Excellent service

Dr. Kelly Dobesh always provides the highest level of care for our aging cat. She explains things well in easy to understand language and always shows gentleness and compassion for our grumpy cat. You can easily see she loves caring for animals. She takes her time, listens carefully. We have the highest confidence when our cat is in her care.

Smith Veterinary Hospital took in our sick puppy and treated him immediately even though we are not established clients. We called from a different place and they accepted him quickly. We are from out of town (our towns vets had their limits of emergencies so were unable to see him) and were able to get him in before closing. The veterinarian was very kind and helped our puppy feel better. Thank you all so much!

Our puppy was bitten on her hind foot by our slightly older puppy and her toe was broken. My nephew was housesitting at the time and he took her to Smiths. Her foot was splinted and bandaged and a cone was put on her. She chewed the bandage and splint. We took her in to change the bandage and had to pay for another splint ($177). We bought a bigger cone and bitter tasting spray to keep her from chewing it, but that didn’t work. The next time we took her in, we were lucky that Dr. Del La Torre was there for her lst day and Pippa was her lst patient. She had to put another new splint in, but she put much more padding around it. The way she bandaged the leg was much better and Pippa has not chewed it even without the cone. Thanks, Dr. De La Torre, you have saved us from a lot of stress and hopefully Pippa’s foot can heal now. We have seen Dr. De La Torre twice now and she comes and explains everything to us and shows how much she cares.

Highly recommend Smith Veterinary Hospital. We brought our ill dog in on a Friday afternoon. Dr. DeAguero and her team were awesome. They provided us with all of the information that we needed to make a difficult decision. In no way did we ever feel rushed. She and her team stayed late to help us. Thank you very much.
