“I have used Mountain Movers several times. SThe longest move was from Santa Fe to New York, and then additional things to Charlottesville, VA, to a friend's house. I did many short moves when I lived out west and every time I moved it was easy and well done. Nothing was ever broken or damaged or lost. The team was always on time and didn't require special favors. The easiest people to work with and I moved a lot of times to many states.”
“What was once a single storage facility became so much more. The littlest business that could, and did exceed expectations as over time it began acquiring surrounding storage facilities until it owned them all. Leaving you with several blocks of units to choose from. Greg Solano is the property manager, and a right helpful guy, who assisted us in getting moved from one unit into a bigger one as our needs grew. He was also very helpful in deciphering the unit numbers and locations code. Each unit number assigned is four digits, but only the last two are on the actual locker, and the first two designate the block the unit is on in order of the facility being purchased. Yeah, I know. Super confusing. When renting a unit just ask him to point you to the specific block you need to be on. The facility isn't new, and the surrounding fences could use some work, but the prices are right and the location is convenient if you are in North Santa Fe.”
“I unfortunately did not choose this storage space due to a certain need that they weren’t able to accommodate, HOWEVER. The customer service was incredible, the representative was honest, transparent, and empathetic. If this place suits your needs definitely book with them! I know if my needs ever change in the future I’ll be booking with them for sure!”
“From the first recognized this was the right and best Storage Location in Santa Fe. Clean. Looked good. Good roadway within units. Substantial fence and electronic security gates. Units clean and well maintained. Good location from just about anywhere in Santa Fe. Just off St. Michael’s Street a major city artery. Great neighborhood surrounded by schools and community education headquarters and library. Long time on site staff extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The blend of all the right things make this to be the best in Santa Fe. Maybe a tiny bit higher cost but well worth what the local company has put into making it the best, safe and secure.”

“I cannot imagine that our experience could have been better than what we received. From our perspective, Jim Mayton, Sales Manager and Estimator was the key. Kudos to Johnson Storage for having such a capable, friendly, knowledgeable professional to work with us, and for having such capable crews backing him up.
Jim Mayton was astounding in every respect. When we first met for an estimate, he was cordial and professional. He carefully detailed every room's content and talked us through how items would be handled - both about packaging and loading on the truck, then about delivering and unloading.
Next, we had concerns about timing of delivery because of proximity to Christmas. Jim worked with other members of Johnson Storage - from the president to warehouse supervisors to the potential drivers. He was able to arrange things so as to make delivery before Christmas as close to a certainty as can be done. We asked for a very difficult task, and it required an extraordinary effort, and Jim came through.
To wit, Jim was up front with us about delivery: we were told that there cannot be guarantees regarding specific delivery times because weather, traffic and accidents are out of anybody's control, and we understood that. So, while he set our expectations, he did everything possible to minimize this and it worked for us.
In addition, we lived on a tight cul-de-sac where a moving van could not fit, and Jim made the arrangements to have contents shuttled from our house to the truck.
While packing and loading, Jim came to our house to make sure all was going smoothly. Then, during and after delivery, Jim kept in touch with us by phone. He checked in with us during the delivery, then while truck was being unloaded, and finally after all was finished. After finishing, he then advised us on how we can dispose of the boxes, and how to handle reimbursement, should any items be found damaged.
Regarding packing and loading truck at our old home, we found the packagers and loaders to pleasant, hard-working, and fast yet extremely careful (they generously wrapped all items with plenty of packing paper).
We experienced the same upon delivery. All workers were pleasant, very engaging - asking us where to put each box (an entire truckload full) and dealing with our requested changes to box and furniture location with up-beat pleasure. All were very cognizant of corners and doorways, moving through and around with care.
In our new house, we have three floors, so negotiating stairs was required. Also, our furniture and boxed items were often quite heavy. I was amazed at how capable each crew member was at handling each item, navigating three levels of placements.
Our move was, in our opinion, a large, difficult one - both in size and distance (across-country move). Johnson did an outstanding job in every respect.
Finally, Jim Mayton went above and beyond our expectations in every way. Thank you, Jim! And thank you Johnson Storage. We certainly recommend you to everyone looking to move.”
“My immediate impression of how storing my things at A1 Self Storage 2 on Rodeo Road would go was not only positive but unusually so. Manager Leona Griego was enthusiastic and helpful when she took my info and asked about my needs. She remained attentive and personable throughout. On many occasions since, I have been in the office when others have come in either to pay on a unit they already had or to obtain one. In each case, Leona was respectful, polite and efficient. She is always working around the units, cleaning interior spaces or improving the landscape and outward appearance of the place. In fact, I have never seen a more dedicated manager of a storage facility. A-1 is lucky to have her.”

“We live put of town and needed a storage unit for some of my parents belongs during a move. The facility was helpful to rent over the internet and phone. They were equally helpful when we came to clear out the unit. My only note would be to have clear markings on how to get to elevators and to mark directions by group numbers to find the units - it’s a bit of a maze. But overall would recommend and use again if needed.”
