Over the years, I have purchased many pieces from Rainbow Gate and it has been a very pleasant experience.
However, there is a relatively new associate whom has been strangely unfriendly on numerous occasions. This last incident was completely unacceptable in terms of her dismissiveness towards me; I called about a specific piece I had been looking to buy, and it was available. I told her I would be right over and when I got there less than 20 minutes later, she sold it. Her response was she didn’t want to take it out of the hands of a person who came in and bought it after our phone call.
There are many ways she could have handled this but the complete disregard she had for me and my time as a return client is not okay. I suspect racism as she and the woman she sold the item to are both white and I am not.

On vacation visiting Santa Fe.
Heard of the place from a cousin.
Arrived late in the afternoon about 30 minutes before they closed. They graciously allowed Us in and we got to view the extremely beautiful hand-painted plates cups bowls Etc. And got to see the back room and the Machinery that they used to manufacture the art before painting and firing.
We made two small purchases and they were shipped to our home carefully packed and arrived as beautiful as they were when we bought them.
We will absolutely go back the next time we are in Santa Fe.

This pottery is so beautiful! We have some of their coffee mugs, and I just purchased a serving bowl as a gift. It was well packaged for shipping, and my daughter is absolutely delighted with it

Local artisans at Rainbow Gate produce a collection of fine colorful handmade tableware ceramics which will impress nearly everyone. As a ceramicist I appreciate the effort Rainbow gate puts into their fine colorful tableware.
