Johnny is the BEST! Took my Honda CRV in for a metal-grinding noise that he diagnosed IMMEDIATELY! Left my car with him that morning and he called me early afternoon with the cost of the issue. Gave me a choice between the expensive option - replacing my air conditioning compressor, or buying a $200.00 part until I could save the money for a new AC. Took the cheaper option and he had my car to me before 5:00 pm that day. That is EXCELLENT SERVICE. Johnny took the time to explain everything to me and even showed me a few things on my vehicle. I highly recommend Pinkies Automotive! Been in Santa Fe my whole life and am happy to say I have finally found my forever-mechanic.

Johnny got my truck in on a Friday and got it back to me Saturday. He was so patient and understanding because I called him 5 times in one day. He explained to me thoroughly what he did and gave me service recommendations. He was so great and gave me peace of mind that my truck was in good hands.

Johnny was absolutely amazing and really helped me out in pinch during my relocation from OH to AZ! He was able to fix my issue with my small RV trailer on a Sunday when everything else was either closed or wouldn't deal with RV trailers! Super nice guy and I highly recommend!

The place is grunge but it is legit. Nothing fancy or formal. Still, maybe the most honest, knowledgeable, and thorough mechanic I've ever met, teaching his son the ropes at the same time.

My “check engine light” has been on for years I’ve taken it to multiple mechanics that all said nothing was wrong and or they replaced a part only for the light to come back on. Recently my car started sounding funny and doing things that made me anxious to drive it. I went to Pinkies based on a friend’s great experience there and I was blown away with the service! He listened to my less-than-technical description of what was going on with my car. They drove it around with my permission to try to get her to repeat her sounds and of course she didn’t. But he didn’t give up! He found the likely source of my problem and had conversation with me explaining it. Part was ordered and when it was in he replaced it the same day. My check engine light is off for the first time in years and Pipi (my car) sounds and runs great! I couldn’t be happier with the service, honesty, and professionalism. Very friendly. Helped us out in a difficult situation. Would have liked a better detail of issues found with vehicle. Never did recieve a receipt or detailed reason for vehicle forfeiture. Had no choice basically but to offer him a deal for vehicle, no way to tow it home to do a more thorough inspection , so took the man for his word. Overall not a bad place to have work done and or looked at. Thx guys
