Ok ok ok- we love books! We love photography- so a bookstore dedicated to photography books- it was a wonderful way to spend a few hours. Staff was friendly too. I mentioned liking a particular photographer and the woman found not one -but two of that artist’s books and let be review them. I had one already and bought the other. That’s crazy good service. There was also a very nice gallery area showing some stunning photographs from several different photographers. Really well done. I’d say this place is well worth a trip when ever you are visiting and want to see some great photography.

What can I say? This place will blow your mind. We spent three hours here and we could have easily stayed another three hours. It was well worth the trip to Santa Fe.

Out of all the museums my daughter and I have been to, this is by far the best and we have visited museums in California, Utah and Arizona as well as every museum in Albuquerque. It has been a few years since we visited and I've been aching to return ever since! Any time anyone mentions wanting to take a trip, I mention Meow Wolf. My daughter did not want to leave, we were here for almost 6 hours! There was 2 lunch trucks outside for when people get hungry. The art installations are insane!!! I loved the tree house, my daughter loved the washer machine and fridge. It was a while trip and a half!! I was told they change it up every year so you are bound to find something different upon returning a year or more later. I'm planning my next trip for this summer and it is definitely going to include a stop at this gem!

This place was trippy! I'm not a Game of Thrones fan and I know GOT creator George R.R. Martin had something to do with an award winning installation inside. No one I know has been to Santa Fe let alone knows what Meow Wolf is. So I came to explore coz they said they got art in there. The location was easy to find as soon as I spotted large art pieces scattered about in the parking lot. Once inside I didn't know what to expect and I was already impressed by the kids learning area. Inside I go and instantly I knew this was going to be a trip. There's a lot of sensory stimulation going on from all directions. Walking thru was like a mix of a speak easy fun house in a magical world. One of my favorites was the secret passages that led to completely odd places and a trailer on a second level treehouse. The setting felt like being in a bayou and if you were brave enough to venture inside the random trailer you would find a palm / tarot reader type of character doing a reading. I came away with a very interesting experience and a memorable time in Santa Fe. It isn't a traditional art museum. It's an immersive experience in a dark setting. You walk through the space that consists of music, neon paint and black lights. The creative thought that went into this space is the art element. My final thought when I left was yes. Whoever created all the settings knows set design for sure. Mel M Yelp 21:3

We were here last year at this time of year. What a difference. Had a blast made everyone back home jealous over the awesome T-shirts and stories from the bar. So excited to come back then COVID hit. Can't wait for you to open. The governor is doing the right thing. Hang in there.

Naturally if you hear Santa Fe, your mind automatically thinks of Meow Wolf, and there is a reason why! This interactive art exhibit really is something to behold! With neon colors, hidden passageways, and interactive experiences, I would say this is something you absolutely must see when you visit Santa Fe. I had a great time as a solo adventurer, but as I mentioned in my Youtube Vlog, it definitely would have been a completely different experience with a companion. There is so much to see that being able to discuss it with another person and get their take and perspective would be interesting. Either way, Meow Wolf needs to be on your list of things to do. And bonus, its very affordable and you could literally spend hours in there!!! And a second bonus is that they have a bar which is very cool, but it doesn't open until the later afternoon, so keep that in mind. I was told to try their margarita which apparently had cotton candy on it and sounds amazing, but sadly I went before the bar was open. :( Next time I won't miss it and you shouldn't either!

Meow wolf is really cool if you're looking for an interactive photo-op experience! The place is very well designed and there are several different animations and interactive portions throughout the the place! While the place itself is very cool, I'm personally just knocking a star off because of how crowded it was when we went! The place is supposed to have an interactive story/mystery that goes along with it however with the large crowds it becomes hard to get involved in the mystery/adventure portion. Instead we spent most of our time walking around and trying to take pictures with the different settings! I think I will definitely try and come back at a time that is less crowded to get a better idea of what meow wolf is all about!

Excellent for children, and for those who love art and fun things (we saw a ton of stoners there, and please bring hand sanitizer because you touch a lot of stuff )

I still don't even know what I experienced here but I do know I liked the weirdness of it all. It's like part art exhibit part mystery escape room-ish...just know that it's super fun, funky, and interactive. Plus their bar is pretty dope, so save time for a drink before or after your time there. We went at night, in their final time slot (6pm) and grabbed a quick drink (the one with the crazy cotton candy fluff) before making our way into the upside down, or so it seemed like. No spoilers here, but I will say to give yourself about two hours tho I'm sure people who immerse themselves in the riddle aspect of it probably spend more time in it all. We bought our tix online the day of. Not sure if that's the prudent thing to do. It was a weekend, but it was late Feb/early March...so maybe that's a slower time of year. It wasn't our favorite thing we did on the trip (green chile & Tent Rocks National Monument are the top of the top) but it's definitely a must when in Santa Fe.
