I've been shopping at oo lala off and on for the 10 years I have lived in Santa Fe. However, an exchange that happened yesterday evening with the main sales associate perhaps owner (she has red hair and wears glasses) left me wondering if I will ever step foot in the store again. My partner and I were driving by when we saw a great pair of vintage red velvet pants outside on display. My partner became excited and I started raving about how some of my favorite pieces of clothing have come from Oo lala and always at a great price. On our way to a hike we spontaneously turned the car around with excitement. The pants were outside on display were we could get a better look and of course my partner became enthusiastic about trying them on. And like I said, great pieces at prices, they were $30. Upon entering we were greeted by a different sales associate, so nice and eager to help and without hesitation, agreed to bring in the pants from outside. At this point we were rudely and abruptly interrupted by the owner/other sales associate making sure we knew how much the pants were and that we could afford them. Still ashamedly conditioned to be polite in the worst of circumstances, it took me a moment to register how rude and inappropriate her comment was... judging, profiling. We are a queer/gay couple in our 30s. Was she being both homophopic and classiest? Or, just assuming since we don't need or want botox we must be lost?

It is nice to have a neighborhood consignment shop. The problem is the two women who work for this tiny little store in a delapidated building; they put on airs, are incredibly inconsiderate, rude, and are as d*** as doorknobs. This type of ignorance isn't uncommon in Santa Fe. Everything I have brought in has sold but this last time, putting up with these two, was a bridge too far. Their job is to sort through old clothes. Who do they think they are? As a result, I will no longer bring my business here.

Shop here if you are a part of Santa fe's Sliver Sunami, it's a great shop to feel unappreciated and not welcomed in and to expensive.Better head up to Taos Thrift Store across from McDonald's Run by Done who now goes by Floyd!!!!

My favorite clothing shop in Santa Fe! Amazing selection of high quality clothing, shoes and accessories - half my wardrobe is from here. It's always fun to stop by and search for that next great outfit!!

I love this consignment shop. The women that work there are always sweet and helpful. The displays are very beautiful. It is difficult to find cute boutiques in Santa Fe and this one is a very special one. I always find a treasure there. Very pretty. With their French flair I can go there and escape just for a moment which means a lot to me. I recommend this shop to all thrifters with a taste for the unique.

We went to this store because I saw a very pretty dress in the window that I would have liked to try on and potentially buy. However, when I asked to try the dress on, the owner said that she typically does not take dresses off the display for people to try on. How disappointing! I was shocked that she basically turned away a sale. I guess her business is doing so well that she didn’t need mine. There were a few other things I liked in the store, but after what happened with the dress in the window, I left.

My greatest love in Santa Fe! This treasure chest is curated with an amazing variety of designers and labels. You too will soon be addicted to shopping with Angie and Margie who make it twice as fun xo. I am a transplant from Los Angeles and feel right at home here :) Everyday is a find!!!!!!!
