Zoe was incredibly helpful and welcoming when we visited Natural Stones! The store had an overwhelming variety with unique pieces with good prices, everything from raw to polished and set stones and cabachons! Absolutely recommended, and I will definitely be returning when visiting Santa fe! Thanks Zoe!

What an amazing shop. I make jewelry and I go to shops all over the country this is definitely one of my favorites. The lady was a sweetheart who went way out of her way to help me find some amazing stones the price was very good. I will most definitely go back to get more stuff.

Garick "the owner" sold me a fake piece of TourqouisI specifically asked if it was genuine and real. He gave me a story about purchasing from a divorce.Not to be trusted!!!rip off!!!!avoid this seller!

We recently visited Garrick's shop in Santa Fe and had a great experience. The staff is friendly and their selection is vast. Don't be intimidated to come on by and grab yourself a unique gift, even if you know nothing about stones or gems. If you are familiar with stones and gems, you'll probably note that pricing is a -little- higher compared to what's available online these days... but, it's an independently owned shop, and it does cost money to keep the lights on. Come in anyway, have fun, and grab yourself something cool; not everything is about saving a penny. It's very hard to put a price on the human interaction that so many aren't willing to reciprocate these days but you won't have that problem here. My spouse and Garrick had quite the conversation about their shared love of education. He is a very passionate educator who even gave a generous gift at the end of the conversation that will live on for years to come. A must do for anyone who enjoys the little things in life.

TL;DR for those with a mineral fixation for reasons hobby, craft, or spiritual, rest assured; Natural Stones will score you a bounty suited to your needs. They've also got an adorable and friendly chihuahua!! I think his name is Zac :)Within lie many varieties of stones in a range of states from raw to polished to cut, at affordable prices! The owners were pleasant and helpful in regard to my specific price range, and gave me a quick tour of their stock. Those in their inventory that stood out to me included some unusual minerals like chinese-writing-stone, white-buffalo-stone, and several uncommon varieties of jade; they also had several species of opaloids like raw purple opal, australian blue opal (both $2/gram) and chunks of opalite priced at $1/piece; they also have pendulums and jewelry of lapis lazuli, tiger eye, shungite, etc, well-priced between 6$ and $18. There were pre-cracked geodes, freshwater pearls, coral, fascinating fossils, and all sorts of beads. Additionally there were several other non-jewelry shaped-rocks such as opalite and obsidian arrowheads. It seemed quite a few of the stones found in this picturesque shop were mined from the local region as well, which is a relief to folks concerned about ethical rock-collecting; those stones that were imported often appeared to include their place of origin in the label or on the reciept. Of course, they had more exquisite and expensive stones as well, but unfortunately was out of money when i visited; none i saw were over $100 but could well have been priced so by perhaps a more ruthless enterprise. All in all, a wonderful and evidently underappreciated rock shop in Santa Fe.

we stayed for two nights and had four meals in the turquoise room. enjoyed tina minions art and filled in our knowledge of the harvey hotels. very good bookstore and bookshop. we had a wonderful time and will come back soon.

Good selection of stones and rocks. Whenever I travel, I always stop at a rock shop to grab something to take back to my dad. This place had a huge selection of beaded rocks ready for stringing and rock charms. Parking lot was crowded because it's next to a restaurant, but we were able to wait and get a space. The items are boxed/separated and prices marked
