I have moved 4 times now and always had problems, this company hands down was the best ,they were on time and ready to move us ,Santa fe best in my opinion!!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS PLACE OR ANY OTHER BUSINESSES THESE PEOPLE HAVE. They are dishonest, dodgy, and rude. They have horrible record keeping systems. They lost my card number to charge for the unit. NEVER CONTACTED ME ABOUT THIS (but chose to contact a family member who has a completely separate unit/agreement- the people just happened to know we are related). Then later threatened to get rid of everything. I want to make it VERY clear to anyone reading this: I gave them my card number AND ADDRESS for bills/invoices months ago (about 3). Not once have I gotten a bill, charge, or other ways of payment. I was not contacted at all about missed payments or to update any information until this morning!! And I was told by someone not even involved with the unit or company!! Don't waste your time or money with these people. Not to mention they brought up finances and rental agreement information to someone not involved with the unit (family or not this is unacceptable). Their business practices are shady on a good day and deplorably dishonest on an average day. I doubt they even have good days.

I have used Mountain Movers several times. SThe longest move was from Santa Fe to New York, and then additional things to Charlottesville, VA, to a friend's house. I did many short moves when I lived out west and every time I moved it was easy and well done. Nothing was ever broken or damaged or lost. The team was always on time and didn't require special favors. The easiest people to work with and I moved a lot of times to many states.

These people are criminally negligent! They damaged several dozen items of property in our move; refused to give us proper tare weight receipts; breached their contract by refusing to move a safe into the house; treated my spouse in a sneering condescending manner; hired lumpers from a local bar to unload items - one them dropped custom glass for a curio cabinet that cost over $200 to replace - one of several dozen items. We found later that one of these people hired was a methamphetamine addict and the other was a local thief. This company should have their license revoked. Mountain Movers helped me move 3 times in just over 3 months. Each time they were very helpful and able to accommodate my schedule. The 2 movers who did the move were fantastic. The 1st move was early Jan and bitter cold, but that did not stop them. The next move was in March and pretty warm, again they just kept going. Throughout all 3 moves nothing was broken, no scratches. They were great and I was very happy with them and would recommend them highly.

I had packed my boxes myself, but needed them moved to storage, along with my grandmother's antique sewing machine. Koko and Brian were amazing. They were professional but friendly and nice. They wasted no time getting down to work. They wrapped that sewing machine up perfectly. They took everything down the stairs quickly but safely. They listened to my ideas about how to arrange the boxes in storage (so I would be able to get to particular ones at any time) and came up with a better strategy than I had. They made my day so easy. The price was reasonable as well. I recommend them and if the boss is reading this, please give Koko and Brian a raise!
