Took my car to him late April, Early May 2024 paid him May 6 $3800 cash (still owed him $200) it is now Late September (paid him the remaining balance and his fees August 23) car isn’t fixed (transmission replaced) and running and now he’s asking for $195 more. Excuses were: waiting for the part, the part came broken, waiting for the new part. I filed with the better business burea, he was not responding. They let me know that he had another complaint that he never responded to. Suggested I file with the New Mexico department of justice. Now he’s saying he’s going to file a lien on my car. DO NOT GO TO HIM. He doesn’t know what he’s doing and/or is extremely greedy.
Next step for me is court. He still had my car.

Beware to my I took my vehicle to him he was supposed to fix the oil Pan. It kept it over 3 months with an excuse after excuse saying parts are defective. I finally got the vehicle back from him drove it home when I got home it was leaking again told him he was leaking he said that's not my problem and it was not going to refund us any money. Now we're going to have to fix it and More money. Very disorganized doesn't communicate very well and not does not have great customer serviceServices: Transmission

Jose the owner of Mister Automotive has worked on my Jeep several times. Two were minor repairs (gate to my Jeep would not close and changing the bulbs to the headlights). The most recent was a repair for a major leak to my coolant system. I called several companies and explained the issue and they all said it was a major repair and couldn’t even give me an estimate for several weeks. I contacted Mister Automotive and Jose was able to diagnose and repair my Jeep the very next day. He was most professional and courteous. I recommend his company to anyone looking for a fair price and honest service.Services: General repairs & maintenance

José please give my father his jeep back. Please stop blocking us. I dont understand how pple can mistreat someone who is so nice and caring. We trusted you and i am begging u to do the right thing. My father gave you lots of money to fix his jeep becuz he trusted you. Please unblock him and just give him back his jeep.

BEWARE HE WONT FOLLOW THROUGH ON HIS WARRANTY AND BLAME HIS FAULT ON ANOTHER ITEM NEEDED TO BE FIXED. EVEN IF YOU HAVE A DOCUMENT FROM A CERTIFIED DEALER MECHANIC. I ALSO FOUND THAT AVERAGE COST FOR A COMPRESSOR IS 1200 HE CHARGED US 2200
