Absolutely gorgeous hotel bar and great value

The hotel has an extensive history. The walls are covered with artwork, the restaurant is beautiful, and the food is delicious! Don't miss all of the boutiques and specialty shops, especially The French Pastry Shop.
Rooms: Clean and beautifully appointed.
Nearby activities: LaFonda is within walking distance of everything. Don't miss the Cathedral, Loretto Chapel, and museums.
Walkability: In the middle of everything and literally on The Plaza.
Food and drinks: ? Yum onthefood! Hydrate due to the altitude!

The roof top of this hotel is a very good place to have an aperitif and a tapas while watching the sunset.
Arrive early enough to get a good seat.

This is an exceptionally beautiful property with never-ending architectural and cultural details that will blow your mind. The 5th floor Tower Bar with views of the mountainside is a must-do when in Santa Fe. However, if you're looking for a fine dining experience or an event, I would reconsider. The food is mediocre at best and service is unreliable.

If you squint really hard, the rooms look like the picture. After we got to our room I asked my husband if it was too late to go to another hotel.
Rooms: Rooms are dated and not in the it’s old so it’s charming kind of dated.

Nearby activities: Located in the heart of downtown.
Safety: It's pretty safe
Walkability: Plenty to see in the hotel and around.
Food and drinks: Had dinner at La Plazuela and it was amazing! Just make sure you make a reservation it helps with the waiting.

Booked a couple months in advance for an event and ended up in a first floor corner room. Very disappointing that I spent so much money on such a bad room with no view except of the service road

Spectacular historic hotel in Santa Fe with authentic architecture and artists works. Located along The Old Santa Fe Trail in the Plaza. Great food, shops, and excellent service and hospitality. One the the best in America!
