I came to Santa Fe on vacation to tour and buy art. My stepmother and daughter went into this gallery while I was finishing up my coffee outside. Before I could go in, they came back out because the owner told them she didn't have anything for children. I believe as the mom I can decide what I want to buy for my child. I buy my daughter collectible items. I just bought her a pair of Russian stockinette dolls a few weeks ago. Anyhow we felt unwelcome and moved onto other galleries that gladly took our money without judgment.

I bought a turquoise bracelet from this shop today. I love it! The shop has a fantastic selection of bracelets, necklaces, rings, etc. I was shopping on a budget and the owner was not only wonderful to speak with and a lovely person, but also very helpful in picking out the right piece. As opposed to the expensive glitzy jewelry stores right on the plaza, this shop focuses on one-of-a-kind pieces with very artistic designs, some that look new and some that look antique. Highly recommend.

Absolutely phenomenal experience! My husband and I went into so many jewelry stores in the Plaza today, looking for a man's ring with turquoise inlay on the band. (We were looking for replacement wedding rings and my husband is very particular.) Catherine pulled out all the stops, spending a half hour going over her selection with us. She gave us a discount on the already INCREDIBLY reasonable prices.Our second favorite rings on the Plaza would have cost us $3k more and wouldn't have been nearly so unique. We highly recommend Kokopelli Gallery!

I'm a Santa Fean and I have been to Kokopelli Gallery several times, always leaving happy and satisfied with my experience and my purchases. This is one of the top galleries in Santa Fe if you're interested in high quality indigenous merchandise at reasonable and more-than-fair prices.
