Lovely experience dropping in to the gallery. Learnt a little about the pieces they have and was very happy with an item James was kind enough to part with.

We had a wonderful experience visiting the James Compton Gallery in Burro Alley of Santa Fe. The selection of objects is superb and very carefully displayed. The owner takes great efforts to convey the meaning and representation of the various artifacts to any interested party. One can sense that he cares greatly about the objects and that they end up with the right party that share his sentiments.

The James Compton Gallery of Santa Fe features select authentic historic native American art and utilitarian objects. The artifacts are very select and carefully displayed. We have visited this gallery several times and always had a great interaction and experience with the owner, Jamie Compton.

This small but beautiful gallery is manned by the most thoughtful and conscientious owner. Jamie is passionate and knowledgeable about his objects, and he encourages patrons to interact with them to better appreciate their craftsmanship. What a delightful way to spend some time.
