Located within walking distance of old town historic Santa fe, with plenty of shops, restaurants, and points of interest in walking distance. The hotel is nicely restored and maintained, rooms are ok sized, and the beds are comfortable.
The restaurant/bar attached to the lobby was the perfect end to our day. The food was delicious, and the service was awesome!
Unfortunately, at 8:14 a.m. on Sunday morning, housekeeping decided it was time to wake us up. I didn't pay over 300 a night to be awoken at 8 am! I am very disappointed that this practice is acceptable and tolerated. Check out isn't until 11 a.m., 8 am. is an unacceptable time to knock on the door.

Very nice hotel in a terrific location. Very nice rooms and other facilities. Staff didn't offer much help or info but we're very nice and helpful when we engaged them. Good internet and TV service. No coffee service in the morning. Getting very expensive.

Fantastic location near the Plaza and many great museums and stores. Had terrific nachos from Pinon Grill. OK overpriced breakfast. Room was nice, we brought a pet so were on ground floor with a view of the parking lot. Stayed two nights in August.

Front desk was AWOL. They should put an old-fashioned Rick at the front desk. Not OK to be standing there for five minutes while the front desk person comes back from their break. Also, restaurant refused to take cash. I reminded them the cash is legal tender. They are obligated, by law, to accept. Refused, and nasty attitude.

This is the worst Hilton we have ever stayed in and we are honors members. The first floor smells like sewage. Cell phones dont work in the hotel at all. We stayed here because our house burnt down. On the second day a woman chased down my husband and son screaming claiming they werent guests and that they were ilegally parking in their lot. They were dressed nice and i dont understand where this judgment came from? When my husband asked for her card she refused and wouldnt tell us her name. Now its a week later and our insurance extended us a week. I went to get keys and was told they needed 400 cc payment for incidentals per room. I paid one and my card wouldnt accept a second one. He then only gave me one room key locking us out of the room with our pets. The manager insisted my husband left work and came with a second card. We paid the other 400- fee and he told us we had 1/2 hr to leave stealing 800 from us. And not refunding our days stay when we left at 4pm and didnt get to spend the night. Thats an extra 500 plus parking. And making a fake 250- smoking fee when we dont even smoke. This is the most inhospitable hotel in town. And the parking fees are insane. Day two after leaving and we now have $1,400 in all unauthorized charges pendind?? Old outdated hotel with a 4ft manager with a Napolian complex. Worst hotel experience i have ever had. Complaints filed.

Beautiful room. Very kind staff. Thanks to Juana who allowed me to park my car with invalid passes. Very different structure from the usual Hiltons in true Santa Fe style. Nice and welcoming pool. Very good breakfast. Super friendly restaurant staff as well as Ryan who works at the bar. It was a pleasure to have a chat with this very professional guy from Maryland. Highly recommended.

Terribly Disappointing Stay – Only the Location Saves It
As a Diamond member, I have stayed at numerous Hilton properties and always expected a certain standard of quality. Unfortunately, this Hilton property in Santa Fe falls far short of what I have come to expect from the brand.
While the location is indeed fantastic, that’s about the only positive thing I can say about this hotel. The pool, which was a key reason for choosing this property, is in a state of disrepair. It’s run-down and uninviting, far from the relaxing experience I was hoping for.
The rooms are even worse. I was given a room with a king bed, but it felt extremely claustrophobic because there was way too much furniture crammed into the space. To make matters worse, there was no access to open a window or a balcony to get any fresh air, making the room feel even more suffocating. The peeling wallpaper and overall poor condition of the room added to my discomfort.
Adding to the disappointment, the staff was not very helpful. They seemed indifferent to the issues I raised, which only added to my frustration. For a brand that usually prides itself on excellent service, this was a big letdown.
To top it off, the coffee bar in the middle of the lobby was always running low. The coffee was lukewarm at best, and the area was poorly maintained, with no attention to cleanliness or presentation. It really felt like no one cared about the guest experience here.
What makes this even more disappointing is that I used my hard-earned points to stay here. It’s sad that a reward stay, which should have been a special experience, turned out to be so dismal.
For the points I redeemed and the price I paid, I expected so much more. Hilton, you really need to step up your game in Santa Fe. I won’t be staying here again, and I recommend others look elsewhere if they want a comfortable and well-maintained place to stay. Whether you’re paying for a room or redeeming points, Marriott consistently delivers a level of service and experience that far exceeds Hilton’s.
