These owners/managers gouge people. They are dishonest and lack integrity. They had rats in my unit and my movers stopped before finishing and I ended up paying an entire months rent when I left on the 8th. Movers were there before the end of the previous month. They didn't care or take any responsibility for the delay due to their rat infestation.

BUYER BEWARE: Glad to see so many satisfied customers and honest reviews. Here is one more honest post, based on specific failings of Global Storage. Sorry to rain on the parade but this posting will be read by the owner (who has invested in expanding his business with new locations). Refining staff and services is all our family asked. No doubt about it, Global Storage forced higher prices, stressed out management and a $20 penalty from renters locked in by their automatic gates. Units leak. Locks are cut randomly. Break-ins, personal property stolen due to its location off Santa Fe's main drag, Cerrillos Road. Santa Fe Police are frequently called in by Global's site managment to protect them from customers and non-customers alike. What's up? Nothing an Anger Management class couldn't cure. Other reviews posted here are only part of the story (and a response to negative reviews.) This reviewer does not know the owners. They are off-site and never met me. My postings never attack individuals - it's irrelevant. I chalk it up to poor training if employees are at fault. I support the owner in his efforts and invite his follow-up. These reviews are to offer shoppers choice. And to point out deficiencies to owners. Management never followed up with the owner on questions and concerns and doubled rental prices. Why is that? I would ask the owner if I knew him. As a customer, I cannot recommend Global. After my experience with Global, it will likely attack me rather than examine the problems which are losing it business. Is all this drama worth it? Is this the swamp you want to place your personal property in? Why bother with Global Storage when there are friendlier, other locally-owned, more secure, less expensive units available elsewhere? Google Maps lists over 40 other Santa Fe storage locations that are actually happy to provide you storage.

Very tight aisles at this facility, saw homeless people every time we were there even though the manager assured us he had removed those type tenants when they took over the facility. Stickers were put on our personal locks and the rentals were more expensive and policies were scammier than other facilities.
