Unfortunately, you cannot cancel an order at this store....We ordered online because they did not have in store. The item was supposed to be sent to Santa Fe store but unfortunately they sent to Albuquerque store; they told us that happens sometimes. They would not send to Santa Fe store for us and when we tried to cancel, unfortunately they said we had to come into the store to cancel.....they had no problem letting us order on our computer, but would not let us cancel online or over the phone. Now we wait until February 8 for them to return the order since no way are we going to pick it up, then we wait another 2 weeks for a refund on our VISA....then we order what we needed from anyone EXCEPT HOME DEPOT...Unfortunately, which is their favorite word, we will never step foot in their store again, and I am advising you to shop at Lowe's or somewhere else where fortunately they take care of their customers.....

This is the worst run Home Depot I've ever been in. I'm currently on hold to speak with a manager, it's been 15 minutes! I have never seen so many employees just standing around doing nothing! No one available to help in the plumbing department, to get an item off the top shelf. Why aren't your shelves stocked? So sad!

Home Depot uses chainsaws and leaf blowers for an hour straight as late as 11:30pm at night. Are they sawing logs with 20 chainsaws at once? I don't know, but it sounds like the Texas Chainsaw Massacre in my apartment every single night. There's also a huge speaker at night that repeats "THIS IS A NO LOITERING ZONE" every 15 minutes. During the day, every 15 minutes I hear "WELCOME TO THE HOME DEPOT. PLEASE ENJOY YOUR SHOPPING EXPERIENCE," from across the street. It's constant and sometimes I feel like I'm going to have a psychotic break from the repetition. PLEASE SHUT UP HOME DEPOT. SOUND POLLUTION OFFENDERS !!!! I WILL FILE AN OFFICIAL COMPLAINT. I can even hear a baby crying upstairs now, I'm sure she's upset about the CHAINSAW SERENADE AT 11:30 AT NIGHT. Leather face EVERY SINGLE NIGHT.

I purchased a new 6 burner 36" LP gas range to replace my 30 year old range for which parts are no longer available. I did the entire transaction on line with only two phone calls to their appliance department. Both times I spoke with Kim who was very knowledgable and gave me sound advice. The new one wasn't in stock but would be shipped directly to my house at no additional charge to me. I was advised of the delivery date and took Kim's recommendation for an installer. I contacted the installer and gave him the details.we agreed to keep the dialogue going via text messages. The trucking company contacted me with exact delivery information and I contacted the installer just to stay current on the project. It was agreed that they would remove the old range and take it with them. The trucking company delivered right on schedule and put the new range in my garage for safekeeping. There was no charge. I contacted the installer and we set a time to do the work. The installer showed up right on time and got straight to work. We started by unwrapping the new range to verify it's details. Next they removed the old range. After taking a door off it's hinges, they were able to get the range out of the house. They moved the new range in, did some minor work on the gas fittings, cleaned the floor and a carefully slid the new range into place. The electrical and gas hookups were tested and all seemed satisfactory. After checking the oven interior and installing the broiler drip tray, they started the oven which came on immediately. We then installed the control knobs for the range top and lit all the burners as a test, all was working perfectly. We assembled all the paperwork including shipping bills, stove manuals, etc. so that it was all in one place. The old range was then loaded into their tuck along with the packing materials from the new range. We went over the bill for the installation and agreed on everything before I paid them with a bank card. We all agreed it was a job well done and they were on their way. The installation took about an hour and a half total. The stove works perfectly and the door that had been removed to facilitate moving things had been remounted and worked as it had before. Nothing quite as satisfying as watching skilled professionals do an excellent job with no problems.

This is the lamest, most idiotic, most poorly-run store in the entire United States. Their online stock count/inventory is entirely erroneous -- ie. if it says there are 36 of some item and you drive all the way there to buy two, you will find that actually there are ZERO in stock. And they just don't GAF. A bunch of lazy "workers" are standing around doing absolutely nothing (except maybe staring at their phones) and they know nothing, don't care about anything, and are sullen and surly if you try to ask them anything. What they will tell you is that you should call them first, before making the drive there, to check and see if something is in stock. But here is the kicker: NO ONE EVER-- and I do mean EVER!!!!!! -- ANSWERS THE PHONE. You can call and call and call, and it will repeatedly just end the call after it rings several times. I think they have it set that way deliberately, just so they don't have to deal with JUSTIFIABLY angry customers who have suffered repeatedly from their crappy non-service and crappy products. Even the so-called "Pro Desk" doesn't answer the phone. SOOOOOO DISRESPECTFUL. This place is the crappiest store imaginable and should be shut down -- it is THAT BAD. I really can't say how much I HATE this whole store; unfortunately I am forced to buy some things here that aren't locally available elsewhere. This store and its employees and manager(s) are the epitome of a VERY BAD JOKE with no punchline (or maybe the customer is the punchline). I am repeatedly flabbergasted at just how ridiculously poorly run it is. AND NOTHING EVER CHANGES in that capacity, whether you complain to "corporate," leave them a bad review, or call their national number (which also, BTW, is CLOSED all weekend). Nothing says: "We don't give a rat's-patootie about you or your project, and all we want is your money for our shoddy products" like the Santa Fe Home Depot. They are the WORST!!!!!

Probably the worst customer service I have ever received at any Home Depot. I arrived with a purchase order. The customer service rep was talking to someone on her blue tooth the entire time...eating a chili dog. Sent me to go talk to the paint department...who sent me back to talk to her. Another salesperson came to help. I was told I would have to come back (2 days later)...and the merchandise would be ready as a "will call".. I had to travel about 60 miles to and from. Made a phone call as I headed that way and was told that they'd get the order ready if they had time. I explained that it was a "will call" and I was traveling from out of town. The rep said, "We'll see". Long story short...I got my stuff, but not a great experience. Come on Home Depot, you can do better.

For adapting to all the theft lack of employment availability and high demand being the only Home Depot in town. These workers work hard and deserve 2-5$ pay bump cause another Home Depot employee from another city would not last 2 weeks here good job guys keep doing the best you can this is not a typical Home Depot I'm from a big town and believe me those big towns have it easy. Not to mention these guys all start work at 630 am so don't come in with that I got up early I'm in a bad mood at 8am have some respect and patience for these hard workers! Nice job 5 stars effort is 10/10 Ps use the Home Depot app it says the isle it on or if it's in stock and if you find the location and it's gone it was probably stolen let the desk know when you leave and say you understand and go order online. Conmen sense helps people help people it's little stuff don't get mad over it.

I have basically lived in this store since I moved to Santa Fe. I've been so let down by their staff on multiple occasions. They couldn't find or deliver my order, they made me return multiple days. Their staff do not communicate with each other. The paint area is under staffed and some times has no one manning it at all.

Visited this store this morning from 40 miles away in hopes of getting all of my home security equipment which showed to be available online. Since all equipment of this nature is locked up in the cages at the front of the store, I asked for assistance from a young lady that was near the cage. After telling the young lady that I knew what I needed and had done the research on product availability in the store she proceeded to tell me that she was sold out of the equipment I needed and that the Home Depot app is constantly inaccurate. I expressed that I understood that but I still needed her to check. She opened the cage and said "see, we are sold out". I looked in the cage and staring us in the face was the security camera I was inquiring about. She continued to argue about how inaccurate the app is and was very confrontational. I felt like I was inconveniencing her by asking her for items that were in the cage. She made more of an effort to not sell products to me than to assist me. I finally told her "never mind, I do not want to deal with you". As I was exiting the store I asked another employee where I could find the manager. The employee pointed back at the young lady that had NOT helped me. I couldn't believe it! This young lady was the manager! As I continued to walk out of the store, this young lady followed me out of the store trying to engage in an argument with me. With other people around I finally had to say "Please stop harassing me". She continued to try to engage with me until I got into my car. At that point I sat in my car and ordered all the equipment I needed from Amazon which was significantly cheaper in price. Maybe this young lady was having a bad day but this experience has cost Home Depot one more patron. My advice would be that if it is not on the shelf where you can find by yourself, go to the parking lot and order online.

If it's on the shelf. Ok If you need help, pitch a tantrum! On second thought, if you need help you're not going to get any. Needed 8- 2x6x8ft pressure treated. They had only 8 on the rack that looked like Barber Poles and water skis. Finally found a guy in an orange apron. Asked him to take down a new bundle. He said, There are some right there. I walked out.

Went into the store trying to simply get a new impact driver for work. Found the one I wanted within 5 min of being in the store. Walked up to the front of the store 3 separate times and asked for help in the power tools section. All three times I asked for help I witnessed Home Depot employees on their personal phones not working. I find it rather annoying they have enough time to sit there on there phones while on the clock but not do any work. It could have been a quick 10 min trip but instead took over an hour just to leave angry and empty handed. Guess I will head over to Lowe's and give them my money.

Frustration Depot! I never felt so much frustration and humiliation in my life inside a Home Depot! I don't think most of the people that works in this Home Depot care about helping us on finding or selling anything to us. The fact of been the only Home Depot in town makes the staff, specially the manager to ignore you for 50 minutes, besides ignoring you she has no ability to help because it is not her "department". Beginning... I needed to begged for help for someone to unlock the door for the cabinet where the lithium battery was, for a leaf blower I was buying. I asked, probably a supervisor or a manager, to help me. She told she would find someone, 20 min and no one came. Finally I got somebody's attention which got me the batteries and found out that I could have free electric tool, which I Did. After spending almost 2 hours with a overloaded cart I was ready to check out, the cashier could not check me out because she was not aware of the promotion of the lithium battery, this was at Pro Checkout. She called the worthless manager that passed the responsibility to the person that helped me with the batteries, after some long time he finally came, he was happy to help but he disappeared never seen he back again. So, I decide to bring back the sign of the promotion because the manager was too lazy or uninterested or does not have the skills to solve issues or it was not her "department". The worthless, stupid and idiot manager tried to check me out again but still having difficulty and turned her back to me again. I was disrespected so many times in this Home Depot that I couldn't stay there any more, I spent more time begging for help than shopping, almost 2 hours of wait... Left without $800.00 worth in merchandise in my cart. By the way, couple of days before I was there and also took more than 20 min to check out. Sure this Home Depot does not care about their customers and less interested in selling their products. Such a loss of time going in there! I will never put my feet in there again! Lowe's has higher prices but I'd rather pay the price for better customer service and efficiency!
