What set this store apart from the others was two amazing employees named Arianna and Jacob who took excellent care of us when we needed help with some coasters. They were courteous, knowledgeable and happy to take care of us.The store itself is the place to be to find the perfect small gift, or a souvenir to bring back home!It has thousands of items and every size and color did you might need! And their prices were very good!

Five and dime it is not. In fact, everything is marked up at least double.

My recent encounter at this general store left me utterly disgusted. The staff member's behavior was nothing short of abhorrent - not only did they lack any semblance of customer service, but they also took it to the extreme by yelling at patrons. It's shocking that such unprofessionalism is tolerated. Save yourself the headache and avoid this store at all costs; it's an absolute disgrace to customer service standards.

Always must visit when in Santa Fe. Great souvenirs that are not outrageously expensive. Blankets, Tee shirts, hats, cups, Chilies & other SW spices. They even have Tums if you ate too much SW food. Don't forget the fountain counter at back of store.

Tons of useful items and souvenirs plus a snack bar featuring the “World Famous” Frito Pie! Frito Pie felt overpriced but it’s a definite tourist attraction (got me in the store) and it was a tasty guilty pleasure!

Convenience store with lots of souvenirs but the real prize is in the back. There is a little concession stand in the back with yummy and easy Frito pie! They open up a Frito bag and fill it with red chile and meat with the option of onions and cheese. It was a bit spicy for me so I definitely got the additional onions and cheese. A quick and easy meal while shopping around.

Service here is awful! They don't care about their customers, especially if you are traveling through. Not one smile or any friendliness in the place. Melissa, one of the managers, has a horrible attitude of any store manager I've ever encountered. They have nice gift items. That's about it.

It's new Mexico so the locals can't smile . They haven't had a reason to in so many generations there almost stuck frowning. If your a tourist don't be lazy try a few blocks away. No hours on their storefront.

I had forgot that the Five & Dime was on my spots to hit. The famed ol' school frito pie was known to be served here. The other day we were walking by and I exclaimed, "oh heck, we gotta pop in here". My gal was wondering what did I need from the general store. We worked our way upstairs to where the little food counter was. There wasn't much to it, basically a hotdog counter. But there isn't really much to a basic frito pie either so it made sense. The lady popped out behind the counter and made mine pretty quick. She used a small bag of fritos as is the street way of making em. I was eating them before we were out the door, as good as I would have hoped. It's just a hidden food counter inside a general store, but it is for sure worth a stop in. especially if you are hungry but don't want to sit down for a big mean, this is the spot.

They have a good variety of trinkets and general goods. When I went to similar tourist shops in a place like Vegas, they didn't have the same amount of utility or variety. This is also just a good option to grab a quick, cheap bite to eat.

Right in the middle of the plaza, thank goodness. I was surprised to find there weren’t very many convenient stores around so when I found this big store I was greatly relieved. I was desperate for water and they had that and more.

Their famous frito pie really hit the spot. Their chili has the right amount of heat and it's a great place to shop for souvenirs.

Great trinket store, with a snack bar in the back. Hot sauces, toys, blankets, to household items are throughout the store. I recommend to avoid some of the busier restaurants and grab some pie. Pick up some items here, grab some ice cream and enjoy

Store is so neat and we always enjoy visiting and buying something unique for her kids. However, the restrooms are absolutely DISGUSTING! Every time, they are never clean, smell pretty bad and just don’t get any attention to them.
