SunFlower hates its customers! I’m convinced. During the Christmas holidays the bank shut down my debit card due to some fraudulent activity related to a lot of debit cards. This was done without text messaging or emailing me. Upon trying to use my debit card it was indicated as being invalid. I went to the Cerrillos Rd Branch in Santa Fe to get a new debit card, instead, I was given a temporary debit card and was told that a permit card would be mailed to me! When I tried to activate the temporary debit card. The automated system told me there was no account number. You never sent me a permanent debit card. It is now April 7 and I am getting a second temporary debit card. I have no idea why Sunflower makes it so difficult to do business with you. We are seriously after 50 years thinking about changing banks. It doesn’t appear that you care one iota about your customers!! Please note this is not about any of your employees as they are all very professional and respectful. This is about your system and how it is not set up to be customer service friendly!!!

Really poor branch same thing with the one by subway. The person who is responsible for the branches in Santa must be embarrassed. I know I would if I only had one good bank out of three. The only high light of the this bank is the teller team at cerrillos never had problem. The bankers though that's a different story...

Tried for 4 days to reach a person, was on hold for from 10 to 20 minutes each time, and have yet to talk to a person. Horrible service.

This is the worst bank I've ever encountered and I'm 62! I've had nothing but problems with them. Here's the most recent and daming of all. A family memeber needs cash quick. I have it to spare. I just tried electronically transferring it to her. I can't. The people in Kansas (I thought this was a local bank but every time I want a transaction completed they get involved) said not only can I not transfer money to an account that's not in my name, I can't send over a certain dollar amount regardless of the amount of money in my account. What? For $50 dollars he would mail a bank check was the best he could come up with. I have a check book and I can send a check for free - what a rip off, It's my money! So now, I've got to hand write a personal check and take it to Fedex to get it to her. Come Monday it will be my mission to find another bank. Avoid First National 1870 at all costs!

It’s unfortunate how this bank has lost its community feel over the past few years. Every time I go in to do a simple thing like make change or get information about my account it fells like a grand inquisition. Customer service needs work.

1870 gets my vote ! Nancy Calabaza lured me in with her welcoming smile , and Hector Magana charmed me into opening a new business account . Process was blissful. They’re a dream team .Highly recommended.

My business has been doing business with First National since the time my parents owned it back in the eighties. They have always done right by us. Also, not for nothing, First National has kept a teller presence available, which I deeply appreciate (that is to say, the bank has never tried to heard me to the atm. I hate that about Wells Fargo).

Great customer service. I was attended by Hector and he was amazing and very professional. He answered all my questions and worked very efficiently. I would definitely recommend doing business with this bank in a heart beat.

I wanted to open a second account and was unsure whether it should be personal or business. Rubi Ornelas explained the differences between the two options and between the various types of each option. She was patient, thorough, and friendly. I was confident I had made the right choice and was assured she would be available to me for future questions.
