Very cute combination coffee shop/bookstore, where we enjoyed a yummy iced vegan dirty chai, a great oat milk cappuccino, and an excellent cinnamon roll and blueberry muffin. Mellow vibe, great lighting, and street-side window view too.

In my very brief time working here I saw a 100% overturn in staff. I doubt it has changed. Not kind to employees.

Great Place! I didn't even know they existed. Only place in Santa Fe that had my the book I was looking for.

Extremely rude coffee guy that works here. After asking how is day was going he just snuggly says “I’ll be with you in a minute “ in a very rude aggressive manner. I do not recommend this shop. Customers should never be treated this way.

Super little book store in Santa Fe. Lots of local titles as well as a good variety of specific topics and classics. Nice little in-house coffee shop too.

Sadly, we are taking this off our list of regular places to visit when we are in Santa Fe. I strongly believe in supporting privately owned bookstores and stopped in with a list to purchase and thirsty for a delicious coffee and pastry. Sadly, they changed pastry vendors and the treats weren’t their usual deliciousness. Then I went to shop for books and no one greeted us, asked if we needed help or suggested any latest “great read”. When I asked for particular books, they were sold out and the employee did not stop what they were doing or even make eye contact. When I asked for help at the counter I was even chastised by an employee for not communicating. Eek, that is why I shop local. For conversations on good books, recommendations on little known titles, or just some personalized service. Thankfully, the gentleman in the back suggested they had a list of local bookstores and the woman with grey hair at the counter gave me the list and a map to find the closest ones. Through this I found a nearby used book and music store that was fun to shop at and will be on my list now. In walking there we found the original Iconik coffee location with delicious coffee and cookies. Thanks to the only kind woman At Collected Works, we can now continue to shop locally and enjoy our book conversations at Big Star Books and Music. Take the time to interact with your customers or they can just as easily shop on line.

If the way they treat the local authors whose heart and soul fill their thoroughly politicized shelves, I have zero inclination to spend a dime here. Heard from a friend that they haven't paid him for the books he consigned. They claim they lost them (not sold), won't pay him, won't return his calls. The staff is as rude as the owner. This place SUCKS.

Great experiences with staff here; both on the phone and in person. I have purchased a number of terrific novels here including Justin Torres' National Book Award winner Blackouts which I have just completed second reading of. I had pre-ordered it and on book release morning the staff were wonderful and I had a great pleasure of meeting some fellow book lovers outside before the store opened. I have also purchased outstanding Colson Whitehead and Tommy Orange novels here. Great coffee bar as well. I look forward to more visits in the future.
