The management team was awesome with communication. When I went to buy the vehicle and sell mine it took over 4 hours. They have a new computer upgrade which was not working properly or not enough staff training. They did compensate for the huge hassle by providing us lunch. The mileage listed was false too. It was posted for 9,000 when it really had 10,500. The management team compensated by paying the shipping cost from Colorado to New Mexico. It didn’t have an owners manual. I ordered one from the mfg. Carmax states they will reimburse that also. So much hassle to buy a car.

Santa Fe NM CARMAX provided excellent customer service when I went in to finalize my paperwork for my vehicle purchased. The process was quick and efficient. Jeremy and Alfonso were the two customer svc agents that assisted with this and they did a great job of making it seamless! Thank you both! I am very happy with the services I received.

If I could give them a negative number I would. Getting my car from another CarMax to Santa Fe was nothing but a hassle but I didn’t even mention that when I went to get it because I was so happy my car finally got there. While the salesman was polite when we purchased the car on the drive home we realized the air conditioner didn’t work . My dad took the car back immediately and they said they could LOOK at it in about 2 weeks. We literally purchased the car( that they said supposedly” passed” all their checks…. and at multiple CarMaxs) less than a hour prior. The manager was absolutely zero help either. How in the world do you think in this weather 2 weeks to even look at an air conditioner on a car we just purchased is acceptable. Knowing if we had figured it out before hand they would have had it fixed by Monday to get it off the lot. This is a disgusting display of customer service. They offered nothing to accommodate this either. I’m in utter shock and disgust and if I didn’t need a car immediately I would have taken it back and took my money somewhere else that actually values and cares for their customers . This CarMax does not at all! I will NEVER make the HUGE mistake of buying another car from this CarMax again and I advise anyone considering them to steer clear. I have never in my life even considered calling corporate on a company but this company took advantage of me and my dad and I will be making full complaint on Monday. Thank you so all much for ruining my car buying experience!

We sold my Subaru Forester. Luciano was patient and told us the process. We left with the agreed amount on a check. It took about an hour. Perfect!

I will never buy a car any other way! The car max platform is super easy to navigate! You can filter then compare vehicle to vehicle. I looked for 1 month at dealerships in town and half wanted to shove a car down your throat, the other half acted like you weren’t worthy… car max was just me and the cars. I found the stuff I was interested in then ran my filters then compared each car and found a hatch back that is older but basically brand new and in great condition! I have had it for 2 weeks now and I love it! Best part was I just showed up to drive it. The guy that came with just stayed quiet and chilled. Best experience of car buying ever! 100% would recommend this over Automaxx any day! Or car buying experience last year through Automaxx was the worst and rushed and it left me with major regret. Local shops are tough to pass up but if you like not talking to a person, Car Max is for you! Even their phone staff is awesome!

We paid for a vehicle to transfer from California to Santa Fe, NM. It took the vehicle 2 days to go 600 miles but took 3 days to go the last 60 miles. Then we had an appointment set up for 1pm and when we got there the vehicle wasn't ready and they said it would be 1 hour longer. When we went back 1 hour later we still had to wait 50 minutes for someone to help us.

Excellent process except blew it at the end. Extremely poor followup when asked for a return phone call to discuss problem with rattle in the car. Promised phone call. Never got the phone call! Shame! Shame!
