I saw sign on St Francis. It says Barks and Bubbles with Self Service in huge letters. When I inquired they said they only do grooming services themselves on a drop off basis.. ??? Did they forget to change their sign on the road? Then I inquired as to a rough estimate on cost. I understand hiring young girls so you can pay less however you really should train customer service if you are going to hire them. She was so curt and rude, refusing to answer my question saying owner is only one to give estimate after seeing the dog. She would not even give me a bracket price when I asked “$50 to $100?” Or.. maybe $100 to $200?? Rudely said she couldn’t answer that.
Lucky for me a customer spoke up and said her dog was minimum $125 each time. I almost fainted. Is that really the going rate for shampooing your dog in Santa Fe??
All this to say, if you are not a “regular” expect a very rude front desk girl who won’t answer your questions or even pretend to be a little nice to you, and be prepared to pay an unknown but astronomical price when work is complete.

barks and bubbles made dempsey look like a little prince. it was the best grooming that he has had in years. they totally listened to my requests to keep his cut long but trimmed to perfection!!!! and let me tell you, he knows how cute he is.

Annabelle LOVES going to Barks & Bubbles. They do an outstanding job grooming her, and a Briard is NOT easy to groom. When we are in Santa Fe, I have her paws shaved to help keep the Foxtail from getting into her feet. They do a great job shaving them because Annabelle does not like her feet messed with. She also likes being with the other dogs at the groomer - especially Zoe.

Worst place ever! I have 2 Westies. I asked for a light clip, false skirts and short faces. Both my dogs got puppy cuts. Very, very short. It took months for them to grow out. Was a REALLY expensive too. Stay away!

I started taking my dog to Barks & Bubbles this year for nail trims, and couldn't be happier. The staff is kind and takes their time. The shop is clean, and the price is reasonable. Very happy with their work and customer service!

We had a great first experience here! Our Australian Shepherd was overdue for a bath and grooming and when we picked her up, she was sweet smelling and looked fantastic! The staff so clearly took such time and care with her. She sometimes gets a bit worried, but was very calm when we picked her up. We very much appreciate the friendly, professional and low key atmosphere here. Thank you!

Barks and bubbles has been a great experience for us for several years now, The staff is really professional, knowledgeable and great at communication. Our mini schnauzer is a complex kinda guy and always looks great and is relaxed coming back to us so I know he’s treated wonderfully during his appointments. I can’t recommend this place enough!

We have taken our dog to Barks & Bubbles for over three years for grooming and daycare. The staff is great and excellent in their grooming and treatment of our dog. They are incredibly caring and truly go out of their way to make our dog feel secure and happy. He absolutely loves going to B & B ! When he first went to B & B, our rescue had some issues which the staff patiently and knowledgeably helped us work through. We recommend B & B to all of our friends!

Amazing experience every time I go. I had not found any other place in Santa Fe that knows how to groom Bichon Frise's the right way until I found this place through word of mouth from another fellow Bichon owner.I also recommended them to my mom and she now takes her new 5 month old Shih Tzu to them and they always do an amazing job. They follow your instructions, and the dogs are always happy afterwards, not traumatized like in other places. Glad we found them.
