Although we did not go while it was in service as a restaurant. We attended it for a rental facility for a memorial. It was lavish and beautiful inside. I would highly recommend it for other events.

The Wine and Dine is a wonderful experience. If you don't drink wine, you don't need to. Or you can take the bottle home if you don't finish (or even start it). The appetizers are intriguing, the main course is cooked to perfection. and the dessert is decadent. We enjoy a fantastic meal, watching the sun reflect on the Sandias, in the middle of the week.

Delicious meal.

Calamari was too tough or chewy. Too little lightning made table dark and hard to see. Saw one person using cell phone lights to see. Our main dish was delicious, we had sea bass, and our service was excellent.

Best food in the area. It may be a little pricey but it's worth every penny. Trust me you don't need to drive to Albuquerque or Santa Fe when it's right outside Bernalillo, between Santa Ana Golf course and Tamaya Golf course

My husband and I love this place. The food is amazing every time we go and the ambiance is so relaxing. Our server was so friendly and did a great job at serving us. It was a fantastic dinner and overall experience.

Love the Wednesday or Thursday menus. Always a great value and delicious choice. Unfortunately, last night's menu had mashed potatoes with wasabi. Bit too much wasabi for us, although the cod was yum.

Steak was ordered medium and it was delivered rare. Sent it back and the second time again served rare and the third time again served rare. That time we just had it boxed and took it home. In fairness, the server took $10.00 off bill.

Our sea bass and ribeye entrees were cooked to perfection and our sides were savory and sumptuous. Our green garden salad was a fresh, balanced mix of greens that was dressed lightly with a tasty seasoned dressing. Our lemonmisu and chocolate layered cake desserts were ample, rich, and tasty endings to our meal. (NOTE: The old fashioned cocktail apparently did not include the usual simple syrup; a sugar layer sat on the bottom of the glass, not having been mixed well with the liquid ingredients.)

Rhonda, our server was excellent. One of the best we have had in over 20 years of going to Prairie Star. She was attentive and knowledgeable. Thank you Rhonda for a superb dining experience.

Service was great, the $80 deal with bottle of wine was short on food and wine options. Food seemed to be under a headlamp instead of fresh.Had to be seated in an overflow dark area instead of main dining room.

I usually like the food at Prairie Star; however, I believe that Chef Myles Lucera would, and probably does SMOKE his breakfast cereal. Why else would you take a great tenderloin with a delicious black pepper bourbon au poivre sauce and add smoke flavor until that is all you can taste?

The Wine and Dine dinner on Wednesday and Thursday nights is an awesome Deal. A couple different appetizers to choose from, a couple different entre's and a dessert. $79.- per couple includes a Bottle of wine, and the times we have done this, the food is great, and the service is awesome!

My friend and I recently had dinner at Prairie Star and we had a good experience. We specifically shared the Wine & Dine meal (the 3 course menu changes every week and is offered on Wed & Thurs evenings/nights). thought the restaurant offered a really good. The ambiance, view, service and good deal for food! I got to try the beer battered artichoke heart, grilled wagyu flank steak and a hazelnut cake. The food was good, although I think next time I would probably opt for dishes that don't contain much fried food (like beer battered artichoke or fries that came with the steak) just for health sake. I especially like that the restaurant was accommodating. I don't really drink and my friend isn't a huge drinker, so we were able to opt for just a glass of wine instead of a bottle of wine to share and our waitress was kind enough to give some discount to the meal for not getting the wine (while charging for that glass of prosecco). I thought the ambiance was wonderful. There's an impressive view of the Sandia Mountains from the restaurant and it looked especially mesmerizing during the sunset. The restaurant was not too busy and cozy enough to enjoy a conversation and not feel rushed throughout the meal. The waitress was wonderful. She was kind to accommodate and helped us with whatever we need. Honestly, for the $79 meal for two, this was a good deal! I wouldn't necessarily say the food was out of this world delicious but it was a nice, good meal for sure. In the future, because the place offers such a nice dining environment, I'd even think of stopping by there to give myself a treat from time to time with a meal there. They do have a bar area as well, so if you don't have a reservation/are thinking of last minute stop by, a nice meal there would still be possible.
