I am SO grateful to this clinic! Being on vacation, away from home with a sick pup is scary especially on New Year's Day when NO ONE is open. The Vet on call was so helpful and reassuring, scheduling me for an appointment directly the next morning. Thank you to the vet and for the clinic for having someone available on New Year's Day!

Ruidoso Animal Clinic was very professional, gave helpful information about the care of my little dog; they were kind and patient with her. The clinic was easy to make appointments and they have a health portal for on line use. They also called me days later to follow up on care.

3 AM with a dog in labor was never more of a pleasure! Gave my baby any emergency C-section and didn't break my bank! Kinda love these guys!

Such a wonderful clinic. We were visiting Ruidoso for a 2 week vacation. At the end of our vacation our dog had a situation where a vet visit was required. They fit us in for an appointment and were outstanding. It is so comforting to have a caring veterinarian available while away from home.

My doggie was ill on a Saturday. He was very dehydrated and was exhibiting signs of shock. I didn't have an appointment but they examined him and treated him and we left in good shape ❤Professional friendly staff ?

Our dog Ellie got Leptospirosis it's a very rare disease she got from going swimming us in a lake. Anyways we called them to make an appointment and they never answered their phones. We took her in and after a long while of waiting they finally got to her. All they seemed to care about was mone and didn't even care that the Leptospirosis was effecting Ellie's body quickly and even paralyzed her lower body. They gave us medicine for her and we did everything we they told us to do for her and she still was not getting better! After three days they wanted to euthanize her. They said there was absolutely nothing else they could do for Ellie. We sent 4000 dollars just for medicine and X-rays for them to do NOTHING. We took Ellie to get a second opinion at Franklin's veterinarians clinic and he kept her for a week and she got so much better he did a absolutely awesome job. I will never recommend anyone to come to Ruidoso Animal Clinic they don't care about your pets all they care about is money. Today we found a little kitty around our neighborhood he seemed in good shape but had a little lump on his tummy so we call Ruidoso Animal Clinic because they were the only ones opened at the time and the vet that I spoken to literally said she wanted to go home and didn't have the time for him so she will be there at the clinic in 5 minutes to euthanize him. I said why would the first thing to do is euthanize him I'll take responsibility for him if I need to. She said because she just got off work. l feel in order to be a veterinarian you should care about animals and not just always wanting to put the animal down every time a pet needs treatment.

We were concerned that our Dachshund, Larry, swallowed some wood and might have have suffered a blockage; he was very constipated and was passing only watery stool. Ruidoso worked us in same day and we were seen by Doctor Brooke Thurstonson. She was great with Larry performed a very thorough examination, and assured us that he was now fine. We highly recommend both the clinic and Doctor Thurstonson for your veterinary needs in that area.
