Great place to stop in for a burger. Personally I think the Best Burger ? around the region including El Paso Consistently great no matter the day or time I've been there.

I love this place. The casino is great! The restaurant is wonderful with great food, staff, and atmosphere. They have karaoke at the restaurant on Wednesday nights. The restrooms are ao.clean with constant attendance. Close parking on most days.

Went to the dinner for the first time there last night. Smelled walking in the door. Was like ok well let's ignore that and try it anyway. Bad choice. You'd think a place that makes the kind of money they do would update every 20 years or so. So dated. Anyway. We both ordered the 13.99 Ribeye special. Talk about low end steak. And it wasn't cooked even close to what we ordered. (Medium and medium well, both undercooked) Not sure if it's better during the busy season, but there is literally no chance we will ever eat there again.

Went to watch the PBR. We paid $80/seat and the rodeo was great. The bar and table service left a lot to be desired. Wait times at the bar where they had 1 bar tender was ridiculous. Table service was nearly impossible. They were so understaffed it was ridiculous (3 waitresses and 1 bartender for the entire turf club). I sincerely hope people start voting with their dollar. Do not go here. Terrible experience. They lack the ability to offer the most basic services and yet have a huge tent setup outside leaching staff to some other event.

All American Futurity. Loved the wrist bands. Did not like that we called five times in two days when tickets opened and never got an answer or a call back to buy tickets until all counter seats were gone. Over all we sat in the Smokehouse. It was great to have a waitress. We just couldn't see the races for people standing in their chairs.

First time visiting this place and I was impressed. The General Admission parking and the Casino parking are free. I visited to see a free concert. Little Joe y la Familia was SO good. The concert was held in a big white tent that is closer to the casino parking lot. All the employees were helpful and kind. There are port-a-potties outside the tent. They offer food, drinks, and alcoholic beverages there. They had chairs and tables (first come first serve) and a dance floor. The parking is very hectic, but there are sufficient amount of spaces, you just have to walk a bit. There are bathrooms inside the casino, too, that is directly across the tent. I definitely recommend the concert events.

My first time in a racetrack in the US and what an experience. It was so simple to get in my friend had ordered us all tickets in advance and we were a group of 9.The experience was amazing , seeing the horses and betting and randomly surprised to win.It was just a great experience and we very much look forward to visiting again.Best Race Track experience I've ever had.

A day at the races in cool mountain air can be fun for everyone 18 years and older. The race track has been in Ruidoso for many years and is packed most weekends. So, buy tickets online or over the phone (don't just walk up to the booth), arrive early, and have at least $30 to bet. While more expensive than the Sunland Park Racetrack, it is also a nicer experience.I don't care for the paddock location; it is too far away from the stands. But overall, not a big deal. The free parking lot is the first lot you see and is dirt or mud, depending on rain. There is a valet for handicapped parking. Of the various seating options, box seats are great as is any seat under the cover. If you can get on the slope in the turf club, do it. But avoid the turf club FLAT as you can't see the live races. The new Cantina has reserved outdoor seating, which is nice too.Staff are all very friendly and will help you make a bet as small as $2. So, if you are new to this - no worries. Plenty of food options, but expect something other than gourmet. There are also some vendors for gifts or Western wear. There is a small casino if you want to play a slot machine. Kinda fun.You can make this a day trip from El Paso, but consider spending the nice at one of many Air B&Bs or hotels. It makes the whole thing just a bit more relaxing.

The bar in the casino was great! Tons of beer options and the carnitas fries were so good!

This race track is kind of a dump. I was very disappointed in the selection of concessions that they had. hotdogs, nachos, and some sad sandwiches. The prices were ridiculous. The track itself seemed ok, but the grandstands and public areas are old and wore out. This place needs a major upgrade.

I have been going to Ruidoso since the 70.s. one of my true loves but I will never go back. They now charge 11 dollars a person to stand at the rail. They charge way to much for everything. It used to be open and free now it feels like a prison. They have ruined Ruidoso for greed.

Went to the new Cantina at the race track Thursday night. food and service was excellent. Came for the food but stayed for the Karaoke. Was extremely disappointed to learn the guy running the karaoke was the same guy that does it on Monday and Wednesday nights at Quarters in midtown. Unfortunately this guy does not know how to do proper sound levels, gives you a mic with echo and treats Karaoke as if it is his personal show or audition. When my wife, whom is an excellent singer, got up to sing before she was drowned out by the music and when she was done said that his wife was glaring at her and she couldn't hear herself as feedback when she was up there. My wife was skipped on the next round and when she went up to ask why the wife got into it with her and it was said she could leave if she didn't like it. we finished our drinks while he stummed his guitar and the played music for his wife so they could dance. Will not be returning to either establishment for Karaoke.
