“Unique place to find items from your childhood, conversation pieces, native American jewelry, and so much more! We always stop in whenever we visit the Ruidoso area. We love the new area rugs we purchased during our last visit!”

“This Walmart has everything I need. Sometimes out of a few items when so busy. This is ONLY WALMART for 50 miles. It gets negative reviews from "selfish people"'. Wake up folks and quit complaining. Ruidoso is a TOURIST VILLAGE and gets hundreds of thousands of customers (million in 2023) from all states. This isn't a big city Walmart. This Village just went thru hell fires and flooding. Have some compassion with your reviews. Yes, service is important and having current dates of produce. I expect good service too. These Ruidoso employees have ALWAYS been courteous to my family and helpful. Thank you Ruidoso Walmart !!
One last note: There have been "rich" panhandlers in this Walmart parking lot. They drive new Mercedes and mini vans and cars. Came up to me twice. Please report to Ruidoso Police. They were also in Albertsons lot too. They are NOT honest or down on their luck---have been begging fraudsters in the area since April 2024. "G" in burned area ...”

“Overall, this Walmart is a standard store. Usually there's a "Clearance Isle" and it is very unorganized. On this trip it was neat as a pin! Today's mission: Indoor Flat Paints to renovate two bedrooms. Speaking with the typically excellent Department Manager, Mark, he was frustrated that he could not mix colors of my choice, explaining shortages had caused his inventory to be depleted. You could tell he was passionate about paint. Anahi, his wonderful assistant, was more pragmatic. Anahi, a true merchandizer, enthusiastically pursued alternatives, finding 6 gallons of a flat base in the marked-down section. Sadly, it could not be mixed with pigments needed to make the darker colors I wanted, but Anahi found it could be used for slightly lighter shades, and ended up selling me 7 gallons of paint. Sam Walton would have been Very Proud of this young lady!”
