Unappealing store. Go to any of the other FCM's on N. Main. Nothing I saw in the store looked anything like the pics the owners obviously posted, or I'd have been overjoyed. Cons: * Location is a bit dicey. Roswell has nothing that's upscale, but this is on the other side of Roswell... low income 'hood with a number of abandoned businesses & homes & many looking down on their luck. Nothing wrong with people trying their hardest... the area just doesn't feel good. * Floors are filthy, everything is old... it looks like it was built in the 60s & no one bothered doing anything with the place in terms of updating. But, at the very least, clean the floors. * Small store... the other store on N. Main (see my review) has a great deli area. I'm unsure of the 2nd N. Main store, but absolutely skip this store. * Deli was virtually empty when I visited at 11am. They had a few b'kfast burrito sandwiches, no hot food of any kind, no chickens or soups, no salad bar (unsure if they offer the latter). Maybe they offer hot meals beginning at noon, but since Roswell is filled with mostly blue collar workers, it's surprising lunch foods are not available around 11am. I've lived in areas where rotisserie chickens were available at 10am. * Store made salads looked grim & as if they'd been there for days... I'm betting they were, given their cheap, decreased sell price. Their store made sandwiches were mostly bread & very little filling, about $7 & were the same as the salads... looked as if they'd been made days ago. So unappetizing. * Unfortunately, I opted for a discounted pkg of baked, cold chicken for $3.50. What a mistake... the taste was fine, but it was extraordinarily over-cooked & as hard as a rock. If I were at home, I'd have made soup with it (cuz the water would soften the meat), but since I'm on the road, I'm at a loss & tried to eat it. At times, I couldn't tell if I were eating bones or chicken, it was that hard. Scratched up my gums & most of it was too brittle & hard to even chew, so I had to toss it all (1/2-chicken) & drive to McD's for a sandwich. Why are they selling food in this condition? * Strange employees. A couple were nice, but most are loners, looking like they're praying you won't speak to them & a bit oddball-ish when I said 'hello'. I'm a small girl... didn't think my greetings were so intimidating. Pros: * They look like they have a decent beer/wine section, like the other store, but I mostly go to grocery stores for food. * They have a large canned food selection, but it is pricier than most other markets, by .25-.50 cents/can. 1* out of 5. I was completely unimpressed. If I were a local, I'd have no reason to choose this store, unless I lived across the street & had no transportation available.
