I needed a new phone. Went into Metro and they had a great promotion if you were switching carriers. Plus with the purchase of the phone you get a case or screen protector. The service was great and within an hour I was in and out with the same number but better service!!

I am extremely disappointed. I've had metro before, but that was several years ago. Apparently there has been a sharp decline in this company since then. My fiance and I walked in a couple weeks ago, purchased a new phone and tablet on the unlimited 5G data plans. That data barely works. I can barely get a page open. From the moment I first tried to access the internet after unboxing the device it has just been garbage. This is not 5G, it's not even 3G. My speeds won't even top 3 mbit/s. I've spent the last few days looking into BBB complaints against metro, of which there are hundreds of pages. I've also spent time looking into any planned or ongoing class action lawsuits against this duplicitous company. I will climb mountains to get them back for this.

Service isn't all that great and they charge you for everything and anything they can. No easy sim card switching,locked phones and compatibility only with their phones,(meaning if your phone is from another major carrier,no chance of using it with their service) lackluster.
