We noticed we had a gas leak on our propane tank that had just been filled the end of June. We called Cortez Gas first thing this morning and they were here within about 15 minutes. Frank and Albert were courteous, professional and found the source of the problem quickly. They worked hard to make sure it was repaired properly! Very pleased with their customer service!

After ordering fittings and gas for 7 years it's remarkable to find people in the industry, especially RL at Cortez Gas, that are so proud to not know what CGA fittings are. It's a little concerning as well that no one can tell you what's in stock without being there in person. Unfriendly and unhelpful. Use as absolute last resort.

Do not take their word for anything, Make sure to get a receipt for every transaction. They're very much as crooked as they come; be sure to take pictures of your tank before and after service as well. If you do not, they will not give you what you paid for; And you will be called a liar, and you will be treated like you are so far below them, you don't deserve to breathe the same air as them. They will have no sympathy for your family even if it's the middle of winter and they messed up. Please be very cautious and learn from my mistakes, and take everything I posted into common practice while dealing with this business.

Called the corporate office to get some help the Alamogordo branch and was told they could not help and that branch does what they want. This is one of the worst miney hungry companies ever! I highly recommend you use a different company for propane!

This is absolutely the worst company. 6 months ago we had a leak on our propane tank. After calling numerous times asking to replace tank. To this day we have switched companies and still have Cortez gas tanks got a call from Roy who was suppose to come remove the tanks today. After calling back after several hours, he informed me that it was too hot outside. And he would try to be here tomorrow
