About Watermelon Mountain Ranch
Watermelon Mountain Ranch is New Mexico's largest no-kill animal shelter, having found homes for over 150,000 dogs and cats since we started in 1996. We are a network partner of Best Friends Animal Society and travel across the southwest rescuing animals on high-kill shelter euthanasia lists. We adopted a 2 year old female. She adapted to our home so quickly. The adoption was thorough and safe for our kitty. She had been soayed, chipped and traveled up from Roswell Shelter. I am so pleased at how socialized she is. Thank you for saving this little girl for us to love.
