Ivan and the crew at Southwest Speed are the best. They are professional, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable.
I have a 2014 Camaro 2SS that’s a bit modified. I had severals shops in Washington work on my car, and I was never really satisfied with the quality of work.
We moved to NM recently I did some research, and talked with Camaro owners in the area, to try and find a good shop. Southwest and Ivan came highly recommended. I visited the shop and Ivan basically gave me a tour of the shop, asked me what my goals were, actually listened to me and he made suggestions on how to proceed. He actually hooked up his laptop to get some readings and then made his recommendations. I made an appointment a week later. I arrived for my appointment, they were ready for me when I arrived and got to work on my car. They finished the work and tune and handed me the keys. I’m so stoked on how my car is running now. It runs markedly better than when I brought it in. I’m one happy hot rodder and can’t wait for our next project! No other shop will touch my car. I’d give them more than 5 stars if Google would let me.

Ivan did an awesome job tuning my Escalade. I had originally gotten it tuned in Santa Fe by a small shop after a cam install and the tune didn’t not stay right the truck had no power was turning off at idle and was sluggish after the third attempt in tuning it i reached out the Ivan I told Ivan what I used it for (towing) and what I wanted and he did exactly that very professional and has knowledge on tunes. He did it in the time he said it would be done too no messing around or giving me the run around and kept me updated on the progress. It stayed perfect I cant complain one bit. I 100% recommend them. Thank you again.

Great service. I work in the automotive business and usually have my vehicle worked on by techs I know so I was hesitant taking my vehicle to someone I didn’t know. But so glad I did. Ivan was quick to give me a quote and diagnosed my truck for free. I was kept well informed the whole time it was in the shop. Truck all fixed and running great. Thanks too all at Sw Speed!!!

Awesome tuning performed on my ram 1500!! Ivan is extremely knowledgeable and willingly spends time with his customers explaining things and answering questions! Not only did I receive 5 star service, I also learned a lot about my set up. It’s a fun shop to be in, as they have a lot going on. I left there feeling confident that my truck will be very reliable and perform in its best condition. Originally I was having a lot of no start issues, and “bogging” down while driving. Ivan fixed all of that for me. I do recommend this shop for Mopar owners. Thank you

went in for a tune and got my truck back same day. truck feels strong again. they also notice some other problem i didnt know about and i really appreciate that for letting me know, i will fix the issue and hopefully get a bit more power when i go back for lil adjustments. Mopar friendly!

From the Awsome helpful greetings I got From (Angel) to the I cant wait to see you and your car again next time from (Ivan) Himself ? man these guys are Awsome, they took great care of my car and did all the work correctly in a very fair amount of time! There's a reason why I drove 3 hours to these guys from Farmington NM and I had options here including ON3 Dyno, but I knew my money and Car would be better in these guy's hands, no gouging the customer and no beating around the bush from Southwest Speed. From the first phone call I made to these guys Ivan was fast and helpful, he didn't leave me waiting for days or even hours like everyone else does, he's get right to it and takes his business and your build serious, and I really appreciate that. He even helped me save a good chunk of money compared to everyone else. I could go on about how great these guys are and the work they do, but I think you really need to see for your selves. I can't wait to do more business with Southwest Speed. I even have all my buddies asking wher I took my car because they noticed the difference this team at made compared to the local shop we have in my town, and keep in mind that the local shop 20 minutes from me is very popular, but seeing first hand what Ivan and his team at Southwest Speed did for my car and at a much better price with a friendly respectful attitude and treating my car as if it was their own, and the results of my car after the work was done I can say that the extra 3 hour drive was worth more then I can say. Thank you guys at Southwest Speed, yall are seriously the best shop I've ever done business with!! Can't wait to go back!! 10 out of 10 Service and Performance!!

Great group of guys here. Originally brought my car to them to get retuned after purchasing it, and a day later instead of getting tuned I dropped a lifter. Took it to them to have the engine rebuilt and they were fantastic. They kept me updated with the process and sent photos when there was more progress! I will definitely be coming back when it’s time to add some more power to my 5th gen SS! Ivan was great with communication even with a very busy work flow. Angel also did a great job on the build and very happy with the work. Thank you guys again!

I emailed them because I wasn't sure what I need to order for my 92 obs that's ls swapped. They emailed me back within 5 minutes and got me exactly what I need. Shopping was very fast as well.

First, I don't ever write reviews, my first one ever! The exception I made for Ivan and Angel goes to what I'm about to say about the shop and them!
I'm very picky on who gets to work on my car, and now I don't trust anyone else. If you are looking for a shop with integrity and honesty that 100% back up there work, look no further.
Since my very first exchange with them, back in 2020 when they installed a Texas Speed Cam package, full exhaust from the long tube headers all the way back to the cat backs, a might mouse oil separator, and E85 fuel upgrade...I never looked back and this has been my GOTO shop for anything from simple oil change, to a new modification for my hot rod.

I have to say that I was a bit hesitant about letting Southwest Speed do the mods to my 2022 Camaro ZL1, only because I am a very picky about letting anyone do anything to it. I usually do all the work myself, but getting it tuned after the bolt-ons was above my pay grade. Ivan and his shop were recommended to me by someone who had used him in the past and said that they are the GO TO shop for late model GM performance. Over several months I acquired all the parts for the first stage of my upgrades, and it was time to get the car to Ivan. I had restless nights as the appointment got closer. After I dropped the car off I contemplated going back to get it. I decided that I didn't want to do the work myself, and I couldn't tune it anyway, so I just bit the bullet and let them do it. Angel did a fantastic job with the installation/replacement of the parts and Ivan is the man when it comes to the tune. He was very helpful with explanations, suggestions and answering my questions. I could not be happier with the work done to the car and the performance gains that Ivan was able to get out of it with his knowledge. I highly recommend Southwest Speed if you are considering doing some performance mods to your car or truck. I know I will be going back for more once I decide what I want to do next. It's an addiction, and now I know without a doubt, that I have a local shop I can trust with my car.
