Extremely dangerous parking lot. There is a guy in a white Chrysler sedan that’s missing a front bumper and has no license plate on his vehicle. He parks there all day, then he will get out of his vehicle at night with a flashlight and pretend to be a police officer to try and rob you. Be very careful if you are at this location after dark. Stay safe and take care.

I’ve been going to this location for over two years now, and would definitely recommend it. The Manager Felix is always doing his best to make sure the gym is operating properly. He is often observed walking around the gym, and greeting members. The staff is friendly and helpful if needed. Thanks to all the staff at Planet Rio!

Amazing gym and very clean. My only suggestion is making sure the hand sanitizers are full they’re often empty. Other than that I love my gym.

Rio Rancho Planet Fitness has been great with the management. They have updated the Black Card Area. Also, when the machines need updated or fixed I notice they did so. Enjoy that it is clean and well cared for.

As a BM card holder, I've enjoyed PF in several countries and numerous states in the USA. However, the Rio Rancho location falls short of the expected cleanliness standards. The bathrooms often smell bad, and the overall maintenance of the common areas is poor. The water fountain is particularly "disgusting," with people drinking and spitting into it. Despite requesting its cleaning three times over two weeks, the employees seem indifferent, giving the impression that good service isn't a priority. Under the benches in the men's room, the dust and dirt are always visible and apparently never cleaned. The hand wash areas are also filthy, with people spitting in them as well.
I wish the managers would focus on the details that elevate a gym from good to great. Unfortunately, as a professional personal trainer on assignment in this city, this is the only gym available to me. I hope someone in management reads this and addresses these issues to show that they genuinely care about their customers' health..

By looking at the reviews seems like the manager for Rio Rancho has a bad reputation. Management should really look into hiring someone with a better attitude, manager guy is making this place look bad.

Called to cancel a membership because i moved and frankly dont care for this establishment. EVERYONE I spoke to was extremely rude down to Felix in Rio Rancho. Trying to speak with a manager was pointless as Felix couldn't give me manager information. Come on Planet fitness don't make it hard as pulling teeth just to cancel a membership. Do better. Especially with customer service.

Very clean gym. Allowed me to take my friend with me. Highly recommended. I pay less than $15 a month. Best deal ever for sure
