I took my fur baby here for the first time because our veterinarian after eight years is retiring. Dr. Hall and his staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The moment we walked in, we were greeted with a friendly smile. Then taken to treatment room and immediately were treated right on time. I highly recommend them. The medication and shampoo that they Prescribed for my dog, Melo was so helpful after many years of him having skin problems. He looks so much better after just one use. I am so thankful that we found Dr. Hall and his team. I will be taking the rest of my fur babies there. I gave them five stars ⭐️ but they definitely deserve way more!! Thanks again for the wonderful service! ?

I'll start with 2 stars. Only because ,I took my service dog and cat here for shots in June. 2024 They were friendly then ..
But, Today., September 30 2024 I tried to get an appointment for xray on my dog. ( discover our neighbors are taking pot shots at her, .cyst that are listed in previous appointment may not be cysts. Neighbors have been shooting birds. And taking shots at the dog, )
I'm trying to find out if the cyst are pellets still in her. As xray wasn't taken in June .
Spoke to the young girl who picked up the phone,
couldn't hear. I had to call back twice.
There was a buzzing in the phone.
Then she looked up the last exam..
But even looking at the dogs" name "on the chart she Kept pronouncing it wrong..
I told her she was my service dog, And I wanted the xray to make sure there wasn't something lodged inside her.
The girl told me they couldn't get her in until.
After the 26th of October ..
(I'm being scheduled for surgery )
I tried to explain the situation to her.
But she cut me off.
With :
Sorry you're having problems with your neighbor, But I can't help you. .
The little punk attitude is what floored me ,
She hung up !
I called back to speak to a supervisor
She said,,
"The Vet. " And again ,she hung up..
They took more than 600 dollars of our money in June. At that appointment.
Others I had spoke to prior to that visit were
Friendly , helpful..
I'm in my 60s. Disabled and I get an attitude from a little girl. Who obviously wasn't raised on manners.
She told Me the vet had a stroke.
But still taking in clients?
You don't hang up on your clients or patients. I have a right to be a little upset and concerned that,. My dog is being used as target practice.
The lack of emotion from someone working in an environment where the patients have no voice, And can't express their pain unless someone steps up for them.
I'm trying to act on behalf of my beautiful German shepherd. Who is my friend and my family. she alerts me when my heart or BP is rising. ( I have had heart surgery. )
This girl has no concern for the world around her.
It was that my dog might have been shot by a monster,.who has no regard for others life, property or pets.
The mentality that this girl has was,
To blame me for not getting along with the
Neighbor!
Then hung up!
I told a young man there months ago.
( I forewarned him. ) That if anything happens or my dog needs anything. You'll need a bigger cage, Because I'm not leaving her!
She is my service dog. MY Family,
I'm protective.
He laughed and said," he'll make a note of it
(( I wasn't kidding ) this is why I gave. 2 stars . He was polite. ( The stars were rated higher until today.)
This girl today reflects whats wrong in this state. A lack of concern. ,to where anything is allowed and the inappropriate behavior
to Which, compassion is usually taught on any elementary level.
when I asked her to "work with me here"
I have medical appointments too.
She hung up!
Shooting at animals relates to behavioral issues, It threatens all around ,
Birds, dogs. Other animals are usually the start of something potentially bigger.
There are kids close by and school down the street.
It's Not just a dispute with a neighbor.
The girl today just, showed how little she had concern for the dog who may be having problems or future problems.
They won't see my dog again.
I won't let her around her!

I made an appointment to get my dog’s nails clipped. I allowed them to clip his nails while I was not in the room. I didn’t want to hear him whimper. In my absence These people cut a huge gauge of hair out of his butt leaving him bald and sore. I’m unsure why they would cut his butt without my permission. I did not authorize any examination. It took three days with pain medicine to get him back to normal. Initially these people appear nice just beware!

This vet came recommend after a bad experience at a different office. We took our cat to get neutered and it was a much nicer experience and no surprise fees! I think the plaques on the wall are a good sign that about 5 or 6 employees have been there a very long time also so this is our new vet and so far so good!
Update: We brought our dog (chihuahua) in when seemingly overnight a large lump formed on her neck and her face was swollen they managed to make time for us that day and even though it was an emergency appointment we got there and were seen right away it was a 3:45pm appointment and we were on the way home with her antibiotics by 4:05pm. I have never experienced an animal clinic this efficient in my 30 years of taking pets to vets. THANK YOU MESA GRANDE!

Dr Hall was my neighbor and vet for many years. He took the greatest care of my dog, Porsche, and cat, Kandy, right up to the end. I can never thank him enough for his kindness and loving care of my family pets.
Thank you, Kent!

I cannot express how amazing Mesa Grande Animal Clinic is . My dog is a handful to say the least . The vet and all the staff who assisted with our visit were so kind and attentive . They took care of everything in one visit and did not make us come back for another visit ( my dog needed to be medicated to calm down ) . They also got my son coloring utensils and some pages to color while we waited . Wonderful experience ! I will never go anywhere else .

These people are exceptional. I went there once with my cat for tooth issues. I compared prices and they were by far the most reasonable in ABQ and when I arrived extremely friendly and welcoming, especially to my terrified fur baby. Everything went great with that appointment. About a year later my cat passed away unexpectedly and suddenly. I had an appointment with them for the next day and cancelled once she passed away. I told them why I no longer needed an appointment and then continued grieving. A week later I received a handwritten condolences card in the mail from them. Y'all I went there ONCE. What EXCEPTIONAL humans. If I ever decide to adopt another pet, this is where I'm taking them.
