Way too overpriced for the neighborhood and the absolute lack of service. With the exception of the maintenance staff, the office staff cannot be counted on to actually BE in the office. The extra charges they just throw into the monthly water/sewer fees are ridiculous given I was one person in my apartment. If you like paying for other people’s showers and finding used condoms in the parking lot, go ahead, move right in. Avoid avoid avoid.

I had an excellent experience working with Marina. Their professionalism and efficiency made the leasing process incredibly smooth. They were attentive to needs, promptly answered all my questions, and went above and beyond. I highly recommend her for anyone looking for an stress-free leasing experience.

I’m moving from Alabama to Rio Rancho, Marina has been excellent and made the entire process stress free! With being several states away, was patient and was present for each concern I may have had. Honestly, hands down one of the best experiences I’ve had while moving! Thank you Marina, you're awesome!

When moving out was provided move out statement where statement showed 30 days to pay. Was only given 2 weeks before threatened to be taken to collections.To follow up on the reply received to make to make aware to others why I am making this review; the email I received states very clearly that if contact was not made by 1/26/24 the payment would be sent to collections despite the due date being 2/09/24. Was hoping to keep discreet and not publish dates but it seems it is necessary based on the response neglecting to discuss the date it would be sent to collections.

Meadowlark Apartments are located at Southern and 528 in Rio Rancho, and businesses built up around them. The complex is small, and really doesn’t have a lot of curb appeal because the architecture is dated. Imagine my surprise when I entered the complex and saw rolling hills of green grass, mature trees, and friendly tenants. The property manager, Carolyn, is a highly experienced manager. She is reserved and efficient but sure knows how to problem solve. The real treasure of the place is the maintenance man ,Wolf. He is bright and eager, and he can fix anything. He is onsite during the week and he starts every day by maintaining the pool so it is always pristine. I decided to move in. The apartments are spacious but the buildings have the issues that accompany aging properties. That said, they are beautifully maintained and I felt like they prepared a clean and inviting apartment just for me. I hope the owners of the complex realize the treasures they have in their frontline staff. They support this quirky, friendly, beautiful neighborhood, and make it a unique and enjoyable living experience.

The leasing consultant is very unprofessional. She makes you feel like your concerns don't matter and that you're wrong if you bring up any issues. I was about to be overcharged around $80 for rent. When I brought up this concern, I was basically dismissed and was told that if I didn't pay the extra $80 by the 4th, I would be charged an additional $137.50 for being late. She finally got the rent down to what the rent should have been, but I should not have been treated the way I was to get to the correct rent.They also use a 3rd party utility biller that is very suspect. I was given my bill on the 16th of the month, so I paid it. Well a week later I got another bill that was about $20 more than the one I originally got. Also, I've has issues in the past where I get the bill on the 27th, and have to pay it on the first of the month. I get a whopping 3 days to pay it with my rent. If you don't believe me, look up Utility Billing West and see other complaints people have.Bottom line is I would save the headache and find another apartment complex to go live at.

I applied for an apartment and got denied . i took in money orders and a paper application then was told to apply online. I was charged the app fees again even though they said i wouldnt be. Its now been three weeks and i still havnt recieved a refund. I keep being told that they r waiting for management to call or email back to no avail.

My family and I are looking to move back to Rio Rancho after moving end of October in 2021 to Chama. And we spoke to Liz on the phone and in person, and she was wonderful. She was super nice and very helpful. The process for applying was easy. Now we’re just waiting to see if we get approved. It’s in the perfect location too that we’re looking for. And a great monthly price. But Liz has been terrific, and very proactive in keeping in contact with me.

AMC takes one step forward then it takes three steps backwards.Just when I think AMC is making progress in cleaning up its tarnished reputation then AMC quickly crawls back into the sewer. AMC's prized employee Lizette fully demonstrated that statement on Friday 1/21/2022.Praising Lizette for doing a good job in one area was a mistake on my part. Apparently, she has grown power crazy and now she is viciously attacking Meadowlark's tenants through vulgar and demeaning letters that she places on the resident's doors.It took 3 months and $340 of me paying overcharges by AMC. AMC fraudulently collected interest on my overpayments without regards to it being illegal.Lizette calculated what I owed based on my contract. I verified that the amount that I owed was correct. I however claim that AMC is undergoing COVID PROFITEERING by illegally raising my rent 17 percent and adding extra charges for things that had been paid for as part of my monthly rent. I look forward to President Biden finding companies such as AMC guilty of doing its best to put good American citizen out on the streets and into abject homelessness. I look forward to reading about AMC's higher ups going to prison for illegal price gouging.Lizette emailed me the amount that I owed, and I promptly paid it. Now almost 3 weeks later, she placed a horrible letter on my door and then she promptly got ready to leave for the weekend. Before she left, I went to her office and told her that I do not owe the money that her nasty letter demanded that I pay immediately or else! Apparently, Lizette cannot do simple math. Perhaps, AMC should buy Lizette a calculator!Lizette is around 23 years old and all of 5 feet tall. I assume that she is a college dropout. I on the other hand and a 100 percent disabled military veteran with PTSD. I served this country honorably for 24 years and Lizette never served one day. I am not in any way afraid of Lizette nor am I shaking in my boots after her rather insulting letter to me.Since, Lizette is incapable of writing a respectful note that says something like, "I noticed a mistake in your rental payment 3 weeks ago. Could you call me or come to the management office and discuss the issue with me?"Attacking tenants in writing without explaining herself makes Lizette look petty and juvenile. When Lizette makes unsubstantiated claims and demands without any proof is uncalled for.I suggest that AMC immediately suspend Lizette without pay for one week. Upon Lizette's return I suggest that she receive "sensitivity training" immediately. She is incapable of writing letters that are not attacking in nature.

I was calling around just to get a price and possibly go and view, the lady that answered was extremely rude then as soon as I said that I had dogs (under the listings it does state pets are ok), she said, "that's a deal breaker" and then hung up! I cannot believe the lack of professionalism from whomever answered the phone, if this is any indication of how the apartments are ran, I will NOT consider or recommend to family or friends.

Was ok till we moved out. 2 times mgmt was in unit after move and were told not to clean up as our deposit would take care of it. 3 times we called in to fix a broken window the last 2yrs. Now they want to charge us for it. Noise at night during summers are loud and they do nothing about it. Mold in the bathrooms were just painted over. Was nice about it till now because now they are requiring us to pay over the deposit we already forfeited. They are nice till you are no longer there. Avoid this place.
