Prices are not fair. I understand about overhead, paying employees, yada yada but everything in there is donated..... as in free. Yet the prices on some things is too high. I understand it may or may not be a mistake on the employees part but please do something. If Rio Rancho wants people to shop in town, then do something, otherwise I will gladly go elsewhere. Albuquerque or Bernalillo is not that far to drive to. I've donated here in the past but may have to rethink doing it again. UPDATE 03/13, 2025....Puzzles at Albuquerque Goodwills are $2 less. Is Goodwill a scam? Sad if it is.

Unfortunately this Goodwill is not targeted to lower income families, their prices are high (sometimes higher then the actual product was worth) which is confusing because they get their inventory for free? I put down many items and the thing is most of these items end of in Landfills anyways. So its really unfortunate to see them trying to grab an extra few bucks at the expense of their community. I see they replied back to some comments saying they put their money to charity but this is the only Goodwill so high priced. Their other locations are fair priced as well as other thrift stores in the area. I think its just an exscuse for their employees not pricing fair or whatever it is its odd they charge more then the items are sold for when brand new. If youre trying to shop for clothes they dont price them fair and will put nicer ones with a bigger price which is hard to shop for kids with anything superhero or tv show theamed on it. Trying to shop for house decor to at least make my house decent looking for guests is a NIGHTMARE at this place, I started looking up other thrift stores while in the actual store LOL…if you can make the drive to another location I would recommend that, this one over all is not worth it, I think theyre going to be shutdown soon if they dont price fairly and its pretty known in my community that this one isnt a good pick. Ill add in a little pic I took where this plant was all tattered up and they were selling it so close to their original price I also saw a broken base being sold for $13 which would have been nice to turn it into a better vase and upcycle it but $13 is too exspensive for how shattered it is. Also was hoping to buy some salt and pepper shakers but unfortunately had to put them down because they were at $16 I think for two plain black ones?

BRO😭 Dont yall literally get most of your stuff by donation?? WHY lemme ask…WHY are you charging a half melted candle for $5?? Super small too…and it wasnt just one..it was many broken candles for $3 and up. The candles, surprisingly, were the least of my worries because…now tell me why…I go to the fake plant section and see the tag as $6…a small plant, but get this the plants ORIGINAL PRICE TAG IS STILL ON THE BOTTOM FOR $4. HOW ARE YALL UPSELLING IT IF IT WAS DONATED TO YOU FOR FREE?! Please…there are a lot of us who come to Goodwill in hopes of finding used things for a fair price. YALL however are cheats. And shady ones at that. The prices yall will be charging are outrageous. Actually outrageous. I came across many things…used…with a price tag for something brand new… that is not the privilege yall have. If you want to sell things for brand new prices… you get brand new items. I really hope to see a change in this store as it is very disappointing.

This is the absolute worst goodwill I’ve ever been to. No jackets in the winter, or blankets either. No furniture, except plastic bins. No counter for valuables or a place to try on clothes, and no mirrors to see if something looks good on you. Very sad, what is going wrong on many levels…
