Quiet and clean! The lady at the front desk was lovely, too. I will definitely stay here again.

Booked and paid for my room through a 3rd party website for 2 bed suit. Hotel gave my room away prior to me arriving and was not able to accommodate with another suit or refund me the difference. Hotel receptionist blamed us for using a 3rd party site and there was nothing he could due. No sorry no I'll speak to my manager no trying to make this mistake right. Just call the booking site and try them. When we arrived into the room it was filthy. Bed sheets appeared dirty and not fresh. Room smells of smoke and carpets looked like a crime was committed. Bathroom door did not close correctly and shower had hair on the walls of the shower. After traveling all day I we wanted was to take showers and get to sleep. Nope problems don't end there. Room only had 2 towels and a Face towel. Called down to the front desk no answer. After multiple attempts finally got ahold of the night receptionist and was told I'm busy come down and get them. After going down to complain I was told I needed to ask for extra towels for the 4 persons registered to the room when I checked in. Never in my 25 years of traveling have I had to ask for towels for registered people staying I the room. 4 person room should have 4 towels and 4 wash cloths. After he gave me his Half ass excuse he proceeded to walk around the corner as scream with frustration. (I tried not to laugh)Service was horrible. Room service must have been on strike or still furlough from COVID. Front desk receptionist needs more customer service training and stress management skills. If your every traveling through Portales don't stay and this COVID invested, crime scene , no towel providing hotel. The best western done the street is far superior stay and service experience then you would get here.

Not a bad hotel, although I don't think there are a lot of other choices. Biggest issue is the front desk staff had intermittent mask wear.
