This was my first service at Hamilton. I had a conversation with the service manager regarding my concerns with a competitor and looking to terminate my service with them, explaining that I wanted honest quotes and service. He assured me that it was their goal to provide what I was wanting. I felt that I was respected as a future customer. The service for today was provided on time and with updates through the process. I came in with NO heat (blend actuator defective) and left with the much-needed heat on these cold days.

Recently, I visited their dealership because my check engine light had come on, and I needed the intake camshaft position sensor replaced.The parts required for the repair were priced at $69, but I was charged an exorbitant $330 for labor. This amount seemed unjustifiably high, considering that all that was required was to unplug the sensor and install a new one in an easily accessible area.Unfortunately, my disappointment did not end there. Merely a day after the repair, the check engine was on again I took it back to Hamilton and was informed I would need to pay 600$ for an entirely new and conveniently related repair , so I decided to seek a second opinion and took my car to another certified dealership. I was informed that not only did my car not require this repair but the parts installed by Hamilton were faulty and they would replace them.Having spent over $400 on an ineffective repair, I contacted Hamilton GM Country - Chevrolet - GMC to inquire about reimbursement for the expenses incurred. They informed me that they could only warranty the part but refused to reimburse me, as I had already taken the initiative to get it replaced and repaired elsewhere.Such a lack of accountability and refusal to rectify their own mistakes is highly concerning. It is evident that Hamilton prioritizes profit over customer satisfaction. Anyone considering doing business with a company that operates in such an unethical manner should think twice.My experience with Hamilton service was not only financially burdensome but also exemplified their disregard for customer wellbeing. I strongly advise against choosing this dealership for any automotive needs.

Been there 3 times. Always like the service. 5☆ for service. 1st time: no rating because i was still new with reviews. 2nd visit: 4☆ because I'm kind of strick. 3rd visit would be a 2☆. Was going to give a 5☆, but since some things were taken & removed... I'm very disappointed. Because I went in alone this time. Felt someone there goes by appearance. Not going to give my gender & nationality.

Caution they will try and get your to pay for work not needed We took our Yukon Denial to Hamilton GM Country in Portales to have the A/C looked at and they told us. The the alignment was bad and there was play in it. We need uppers,lower, ball joints. Inner outer tie rods all needed replaced, and it would be $1800.This struck us funny cause we had this all replaced a year ago at Forrest tires., so we told them we would hold off on the work.So wondering what was going on we set n appointment with Bender to have both the AC and the front end looked at. This time I told Bender that I thought it need all the front end replaced and aligned. BENDER came back asking why cause they could tell it had been replaced and they found nothing loose and everything had been installed correctly. When I called Hamilton to let them know what had happen they told me they stand behind there tech and if I wanted I could drive all the way back down and they looked at it agian. I personally can't trust what comes out of there mouth and told them I would not be buying anymore cars (we have purchased 2 different Yukons from them) or any parts from them. Makes you wonder how many more people have had unnecessary work done cause they took their word for it

Took my 2015 Chevy Silverado to get an alignment ending up needing new ball joints no big deal had them replaced and got my alignment paid $862 got the truck home noticed the alignment pins were missing and one was half way out. Went back to the dealership didn't make a big deal just asked if that was okay and the technician told me they were not important and they didn't need to be in there.... Asked him if he could push the pin sticking out back in and he said yes then after trying told me he couldn't get it in and just took it out. After leaving went to Clovis Chevy garage asking if it was okay to not have the pins in he informed me they are VERY vital and have to be in place to keep the cam member straight... went back to portales Chevy garage and asked them if they would reimburse me for the alignment since it was wrong and the service guy told me he couldn't and that he could give me a oil change for my trouble. I then suggested they should talk to this technician and he cut me off and said no we stand behind our technicians 100%... Needless to say be careful using this Chevy garage the technician do not seem qualified in working on your vehicles. I called GM and filed a complaint against the dealership; I was reimbursed for the alignment and went to Benders Chevrolet to have them fix what this place Hamilton Chevrolet messed up.

Bought my car when this location was a Ford dealer. Headed through town on a long road trip and had a minor repair we needed help with. Popped in, they fixed us up FREE of charge! Service department guys were very helpful and friendly! Hated the service department when it was Ford!!

5 Stars Everyone at Hamilton was wonderful to work with during my vehicle purchase. The customer service was first rate and they handled my inquiries quickly. I live in Albuquerque and they were great to work with in order to get me my vehicle and handle my trade in. I would highly recommend a purchase from them because of the fact that they did not pressure me to purchase anything and they went above and beyond to work with me.
