After detecting my accent (I'm from Europe), the lady working here asked me whether I had an immigrant visa. As I was saying I'm a citizen, she adds "not that you need one. Now they just walk across the border." Then she launches into a monologue about how Mexican immigrants are just walking across the border and turning this country into what they're escaping from. I just turned away and walked out. As my friend and I are walking out the door she asks "Are y'all with them?" I didn't go into this shop looking for xenophobic and racist rhetoric.

The lady working at the shop was racist and xenophobic and made my friend and I very uncomfortable when she started criticizing Mexican Immigrants. She asked my friend who is a US Citizen where he was from and if he had a visa. Inappropriate.

I LOVE this place! what a group of ecclectic merchandise. The manager of the store is awesome! Great selection of things to purchase. I hope to come back and see what is new in the store. she just needs to update her website.

Fun store in the middle of Madrid. Hard to miss because of the vivid colors, cool signs and decor in front of the shop. They do have steampunk everything, cool decor, jewelry, art work, one of a kind, fun to get as a gift or a more interesting souvenir from the area. Not your usual souvenir, something cooler to bring home. Fun shop to browse, cool decorating ideas, original merchandise! Pop in!

This is such a neat little steampunk place tucked away inside 5th Street Arcade. Ms. Patty hand makes all of the jewelry herself. The shops feels like something out of a movie! If steampunk isn't your cup of tea, you should still stop in just to see the wonderful and intricate creations! "It's a bit goth, a lot punk, and totally cool!"
