I just happened upon Moses Kountry Health Foods while out for a walk so I decided to see if they might have something I could not find at other grocery stores (VWG aka gluten flour). They did and I bought some. The staff was helpful and friendly, we chatted about vegan cooking and German food when I mentioned that I planned to use the VWG to make schnitzel. I only bought the one item, but the store seemed well stocked with all kinds of "healthy" products. If you are interested in "health food," you should probably check it out. It's easy to find on a major street and they have a nice parking lot.

First time I've been to Moses country health store and now is the maze by the great customer service that they have there and also the quality advice that they give you on every product love it I will definitely be attending in the future for lots of services

Different Moses than old testament Moses. Nothing "holy" going on here. Dusty, dark space, good selection of supplements, poor selection of fresh items.

Meh... While I adore the barefoot dirty hippy of the 70's who made us all aware of organic and clean eating, I don't like living in the shadows of that era. Moses Country misses the point of being earthy. I'm not even sure anyone knows about Mother Jones. Store keepers are unfriendly & unhelpful. I can get all the products they have at La Montanita Coop or even Sprouts with a nicer environment. At one time, MKH was one of the few places to get certain things, but those days are long gone. It needs an overhaul.

Love Moses. Mainly buy Osha and my vitamins here, but they have absolutely everything and are very helpful and knowledgeable and never try to convince you to buy the most expensive item. They are honest.

I found this store while driving down 4th Street. I was curious and had time to stop and was glad that I did. I so appreciate these unique type health stores. They are typically expensive, but I know that is because they can't buy in bulk like the larger chains (like Whole Foods and Sprouts). I bought a few things, mostly because I like to support independent enterprises. I am glad that they are around!

Outstanding selection of natural nutritional products at this store. Nathan, the owner, is always there and he really knows quite a bit about natural health and healthy alternatives to mainstream pharmaceutical drugs. Plus, this store always has free samples and if you don't see them, just ask the staff. They are very helpful in allowing you to try what they have to offer that day.
