Having moved back recently after many years away, we did not know a mechanic. I have been going to Tony's place, G&T Auto to get the non-ethanol gas for a couple of my vehicles. Tony was up front one time and I talked with him and he was very nice and I have appreciated just getting my gas there. So, when I needed a mechanic for my 2003 Ford Explorer, I looked them up online for the mechanic part of it. I was very pleased to see that they had a very high rating and everybody had talked about Tony working on their cars as very honest and reliable. I took our 2003 Ford Explorer with 265,000 miles in. I made a phone call mid morning to Tony. He said bring it by. I was not expecting them to get to it that day. When I got there I talked with the other mechanic, Kirk, because Tony was at lunch. Kirk listened to all the long lengthy details about what my Explorer was doing and said he would get it in and look at it. I went to lunch immediately upon leaving and while I was at lunch, he called me! He had already pulled my car in and looked at it. He worked on it that afternoon and he called me by 9:00 the next morning. They fixed what was wrong, did an oil change, they gave a few recommendations for things like my front brakes at 35- 40% and a couple of other small items for the future. They were extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and efficient! Based on this my first time, I will be using G&T automotive services for the future of my vehicles! Thanks so much for the excellent service!

Tony at G&T Auto is by far the most knowledgeable and honest mechanic I've met in the 505. His attention to detail and his honesty when it comes to repairing my vehicles is unmatched. I will forever take my automobiles to G&T for repair.

Tony always helps me out. I have a 96 cherokee that does not want to live anymore, and every time Tony brings it back to life and is totally honest with me about what's next. He doesn't try to fix all the extra problems it has. He stays within my budget of what I can fix and is extremely knowledgeable about all kinds of vehicles. He's extremely reasonably priced and will get your car back on the road in record time. My jeeps never stayed there for more than a week, and I had the whole rear end done!

Recent oil change experience. My wife found a coupon online for a Semi-Synthetic oil change at G and T for $69.95. After dropping off the car, she received a call stating that they had to use full synthetic. My wife stated that she has had conventional and semi-synthetic oil changes before but they were adamant that it was not possible and that they'd need to charge $139.95. When she did return to pick up the vehicle, the $139.95 had an additional charge of $14 for unspecified parts that could not be determined. The total cost was now $165. When paying for the service my wife quoted the owner's manual which stated that conventional, semi-synthetic, or full synthetic were all appropriate types of oil per the manufacturer. Their response was simply "sorry". While she did agree to the full synthetic, she did so because they were adamant that it was required while later saying "sorry" after being informed of the manufacturer's guidance and that full synthetic is not a requirement. As for the extra $14, the answer was, "that's just something the computer adds". Not a good experience or resolution to complaint about the unneeded up-charge to full synthetic. Try to support local business here in Los Ranchos and will continue to do so but G and T will no longer be on that list.

Tony is a master mechanic! He knows exactly what to do, no matter what car you bring in. These new cars require an hour and tire removal to change a lightbulb. That’s ridiculous, but Tony can get it done efficiently and professionally for less than the big companies.Services: General repairs & maintenance

The only place that has ethanol free gas in Abq at the pump. If you care about your engines use good gas. They are always friendly and the shop is clean.

Only place to get gas for classic cars that is convenient for me. Ethanol free gas! Perfect if you have a classic. Great for anyone wanting good fuel for small engine tools as well! Bring some gas cans or put straight into your classic
