Ruth Aber, proprietor and owner of Mostly Madrid (MM) is as knowledgeable as they come about Native American art and local art. Her store is a living example of her knowledge filled with an eclectic array of jewelry, art, clothing, local creations and hidden gems. I have known Ruth and shopped in MM for almost 30 years. I always find something I can't live without! If you're in Madrid, this is a must. (And pick up some of Harvey's chocolate next door at Shugarman's Little Chocolate Shoppe)

We arrived in Madrid on a Wednesday late afternoon, February 1st only to find a lot of things closed. We wandered around and found this store opened and we were instantly sucked in by the two ladies running the store. They were so friendly and knowledgeable and I loved all the local artistry available.I couldn’t make up my mind on a print I found and may have to just order it once I get home.LOVED the vibe in here - it’s a must stop place!

We spoke with a woman named Ruth, who helped us with everything she was incredible! She knew everything she was talking about and even showed trick for wearing rings, and how to properly fit bracelets. The shop is full of work done by local artists. We will be going back!

I felt joy the moment we walked in. Fun, funky, colorful, playful pieces! Wide variety, not just paintings or jewelry. One of our favorites was the "guardians" sculptures. Very woodland, fairy-like. Well worth the stop and reasonable prices! They also ship and get new pieces regularly! We'll be back!

Would not want to miss this gallery shop when in Madrid. The proprietor has been there forever and knows all her artist contributors. We always find some unique items there and you get real local knowledge and background info. Very reasonable prices.
