3 Firehouse Ln, Madrid“Ruth Aber, proprietor and owner of Mostly Madrid (MM) is as knowledgeable as they come about Native American art and local art. Her store is a living example of her knowledge filled with an eclectic array of jewelry, art, clothing, local creations and hidden gems. I have known Ruth and shopped in MM for almost 30 years. I always find something I can't live without! If you're in Madrid, this is a must. (And pick up some of Harvey's chocolate next door at Shugarman's Little Chocolate Shoppe)”
10AM - 5:30PM
2845 NM-14 N, Madrid“Very impressive gem and jewelry store. Artist was in the store making pieces. Many turquoise pieces and other gemstones from the area and from artisans in santa domingo, pueblos and mexico. Also had yoga and meditation chimes and musical items”
“We didn't go into the museum or petting zoo, though I saw both. It was a decent stop with LOTS of interesting rocks and jewelry pieces for sale. I only removed 1 star because the prices were definitely aimed at tourists - you can find the same types of things cheaper elsewhere. But it does make for a nice stop on the longer scenic route between Albuquerque and Santa Fe.”
