“Very pleasant staff, I want there long as I was a very late check-in (around 1am) and left early to continue my road trip. Glad I had a reservation! The only reason I gave them only 4 starts on the room is because the heat was not working in my room! The young man from the front desk was prompt and courteous to come to my aid, but unable to fix the problem which seemed to be a short in the wiring. They did offer me another room but I was already partially unpacke, tired and ready to settle in for the night so I asked him too just bring me some extra blankets and I would be fine. He brought me 2 extra blankets and I was fine, but the room should have been in working order before I arrived! The unit was unplugged which suggested someone was aware of the problem. Yes would absolutely stay here again!!”

“It's worth visiting!!! Full of memories! Practically a living museum! There are stores with Mexican art objects. An incredible bar and an even more interesting crowd! The food was delicious!
I didn't have the opportunity to stay there, I certainly would have liked it.”

“Everything about this hotel is absolutely fabulous! If you want service that's second to none in Las Vegas, NM this is your place! Fabulous food, rooms, desserts, rich in history, super friendly staff who will go out of their way to help you any possible way they can then you should check out this hotel, gift shop, restaurant and bar/lounge.”

“All of the staff were friendly and customer service oriented, but especially the breakfast staff. I'd stay here again solely because of having such a positive experience getting coffee each morning. The beds were comfy, and everything else was average for an off-the-highway hotel with free breakfast.
Rooms: Average hotel room with microwave and small fridge.
Food & drinks: OJ and espresso were a delicious treat, and you can't go wrong with the waffles and yogurt either.
Noteworthy details: The kitchen staff member was extremely kind, attentive, and patient. The yogurt dispenser was down the first morning of our stay. They apologized, did some troubleshooting, and immediately requested to have it fixed. They told me the next morning when I arrived for breakfast that it had been fixed. The level of courtesy was five stars!”
“This is a good place to spend a night. The sheets and towels were clean and the shower hot. The heat worked and kept the room comfortable even when it was 10F outside. Wifi was great.The management is very helpful.”
“Although it's kind of run down maintenance wise, our room was clean, shower temperature and pressure was fantastic, and the beds were great! If you don't mind the the look of things, it's a great place to stay and save a few bucks instead of going to some of the more expensive places in the area.”

“In my opinion, this is definitely worth the money! The rooms are very clean! Walked in and instantly smelt clean and fresh. The beds are a 10/10. Not to soft not to firm just right. The bathroom was nice and spacious with a deep tub! This is definitely the go to spot have it saved ? thank you thunderbird motel.”
