Workmed is a great business to work with for Worker's Compensation and DOT needs. The staff is always friendly and communicative! I would highly recommend them for any business needs in Las Cruces.

The others reviews are right. I have an autoimmune disease and somehow they thought that made me illegible to drive. They wasted 4 hours and still only agreed to certify my physical after calling my doctor multiple times and having her personally verify. Like another person said, Wanda Poncik should not be a nurse practitioner. Considering that others have also had a similar unfortunate experience, I’m contemplating reporting her to the medical board for not knowing what she’s doing.

My company has used WorkMed for the past 15 years for our DOT Drug Testing. Excellent customer service and the drivers appreciate being able to get in and out quickly.

VERY unfriendly and rude nurse practitioner. Treated me like a liar when I told her my sleep apnea report was faxed the day before. I had to call the place that sent it (which really annoyed her) and put the person on speaker phone to prove they had faxed it in. In addition, there are NO DOT RULES for sleep apnea! Did a quick google search and found that she LIED to me in saying that it was a "requirement" to only give a one year DOT physical card for people with sleep apnea that are being treated for it, and use a CPAP machine daily. That is not true!! There are only recommendations and the examiner can decide how long they want to issue the DOT card for. Obviously if they make you come in every year instead of the standard every 2 years, that is more money for them. Feeling ripped off and very frustrated. Front desk person was very pleasant though.

Went for a rapid drug test, People here were great got me in right away! With great results. Much better than LabCorp, at LabCorp they had me go in to the facility call some number online then schedule appointment plus you need doctor referral at LabCorp which is really inconvenient if you just want to know yourself. Workmed probably the best drug screening test in town!

The staff does not seem to know what they are doing. If they see written information about a case they do not inform that other documentation is necessary in order to complete a d.o.t physical and still charge you for an uncompleted physical. It was easy to say before hand what was needed.
