Toyota dealership used to mean something, not any more. Went to VIVA TOYOTA for scheduled appointment for routine oil change and rotate tires, almost 2.5 hours later our car was finally ready. Service advisor told us after the first hour in that car would be ready in about 20 minutes. We were ready to go that whole time but ended up waiting another 1.5 hours. The advisor didn't apply the coupon their own coupon even though we presented it when we signed in. An oil change was $130 , and the TOYOTA trained technician didn't reset maintenance light. I hope that is all they forgot. We have been taking cars to dealer since we purchased but will not do this in the future We didn't notice maintenance light or that coupon hadn't been applied till we checked paperwork the next day. Paper work is difficult to read and understand also. We were in such a hurry to leave because we were already late to pick up children we just left in a hurry. The appointment was scheduled and should not have taken more than a hour so we thought we would have plenty of time allowing 2 hours for oil change. Service advisor is rude and condescending should not be working with people, cant reach anyone using the phone to save your life. Very poor customer service unless you're buying a car they are very nice. Another time we took car for oil change we lost center cap on new truck day after service and of course they said it wasn't their responsibility. So check your caps before you leave another center cap of ours was barely on and would have probably flown off if I hadn't checked. I always accompany my wife now because if she's alone, they do fear mongering to get additional services and pad bill, this stopped when we started going together.

I'm happy to say the service department at Viva Toyota is great. I've had a wonderful experience while Michael M. is always sure to answer any questions I have about my vehicle and its needed service. Scheduled maintenance service is always quick and this was the first time I came prepared with my laptop rather than bother with a complementary ride to/from since it usually takes less than 2 hours.

Viva Toyota of Las Cruces is a dishonest and disreputable dealership. Shopping for a car with my wife, exploring options and looking for something that would work well for her. She liked the Rav4 so naturally we went to the local Toyota and test drove it. The salesman we were approached by claimed to also be the finance manager and over the course of conversation he told us that no one was selling cars for at or under MSRP and we wouldn't find deals right now, mind you we never began to talk about price. Any dealer that thinks its ok to rip off customers by adding dealer markup doesn't deserve to be in business and certainly won't have mine. We ended up going down the street and purchasing from Borman and had a great buying experience.

I have been going to Vescovo, now Viva, Toyota for the past 15 plus years. I have purchased two vehicles from them and had my Toyota Sequoia serviced there as well. It is worth the drive from El Paso to patronize this business. I was fortunate to met Jesse Mendoza in service. Jesse has always gone above and beyond just doing his job. He is a consummate professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and honest. Jesse never pushes service or products that are not needed and when they are he is adapt at explaining why. He has always been able to work me in when needed. The mechanical services performed on my vehicles has always been top notch. However, I have to say that Jesse is the reason I keep coming back. Jesse speaks to me as if I am family; and I certainly feel as such. The truth is it is often the staff, which makes first contact, that make the biggest impact. Jesse certainly does. Please recognize Jesse for all of his hard work and I'll keep coming back for the service and the sales. You can't go wrong coming to you all.

I set up an appointment and listed the items I needed completed the last being a new rear windshield wiper. I was charged for the I stall but it was not installed. One month later and 9 different phone calls and I have no wiper and no refund. No answers the phone all you get is voice mails. It is a terrible place about response and follow up. I I've over and hour away and driving to this place to get a resoluti9n is very difficult. Why can't anyone return my call to resolve this problemService: General repairs & maintenance

Good service comes at a high cost. They take no pity on those of us with less mechanical aptitude.

The place rocks .. better Toyota dealer ever and that's alot since I was 20! Do yourself a favor ask for the kindest, sweetest salesperson by the name of Courtney. If Courtney is on vacation, Christina is also a sweet salesperson. The sales mgr is very easy to speak to. Great place!

I bought a car here over 7 months ago and still don't have my plates or original title for it. They admit it is their mistake but aren't willing to reimburse me anything for the hassles this has caused me. I'm from out of state and it's inconvenient and costly to have the temp plates printed and laminated every month. I can't sell or trade in the car because I don't have a title for it. Their excuse is the clerk filed it wrong, then they hired a 3rd party company to straighten things out, then my state wouldn't process it because the inspection was over 90 days ago. So I had to get another inspection done on the car in December and then they sent the paperwork to the wrong county in my state. The incompetence never ends. Apparently there are many other people who bought cars here going through this same ordeal. I called Toyota's corporate office and they were no help either. I'm having to pursue legal action to resolve this.
