They mistakenly booked my reservation and by the time I discovered it, the date had passed and it was too late to modify it. I have been a lifelong Holiday Inn customer, but IHG has received their last dollar they will ever get from me. For them not to fix their mistakes and charge me was the last straw.

It was fine for the night. Front desk was very helpfull.Rooms: Could use a good carpet cleaning. It was fine. Good shower.

The hotel is very deteriorated, it urgently needs remodeling, the carpets are dirty, old, finished as well as the dirty walls, the elevator is in poor condition, the entire hotel is very bad, I can't complain about the service, they treated us very well from counter to cleaning staff and where you have breakfastI do not recommend it, apart from the price it is not cheap at all.Rooms: Very ugly, dirty, old everythingNoteworthy details: Everything very dirty and deteriorated

Gps took me the wrong way to the entrance of the hotel. Rooms are out dated.Staff are friendly.Rooms: Out dated, I went to take a shower and turned the hot water on and it was cold. someone mixed the hot and cold lines up.

I have always had good stays with this company until last night. We stood here Friday and Saturday we checked out. We decided to stay an extra night because we were so tired and needed rest before our trip back to Arizona. The room we were given was not a good room. We encountered BEDBUG'S my father in-law was bit three time's. We caught it and place it in a glass and called front desk. While waiting we cought a Roach smh. He came up quickly and wanted to give us the room next door. At this point we were not ok with the room next door and asked for the room we had previously. After we changed rooms. We were in fear of taking any of these bedbugs or roaches so we had to wash all our clothes. We were up till 5 am washing and drying our clothes. We went to front desk in the morning to talk to Manager but was told he stepped out. We were told they gave us our points back because that was how we payed in points. We our Diamond Elite statues and this is how we were treated. We had no rest at all and that was the whole reason we stayed this extra night. Very disappointed that the Manager did not reach out to us at all. We went to front desk three times.

Amber is the best. We were treated like royalty. She even made a great recommendation for dinner. If you’re ever in the area of Las Cruces stay at the Holiday Inn Express, you want be disappointed. Ask for Amber!

Room was fine, got a good night sleep. The service at the breakfast lounge was outstanding the employees went out of their way to make sure the guests were happy with their breakfast.

If you like clean hotels, don’t stay here.The biggest issue was that there was a used bar of soap (that was still wet) in the shower. The sink handle looked like it needed to be wiped down, the fridge and microwave were not clean as well.

Read this review. It's 2 stars, but not written out of anger or emotion.First the good : the staff is very friendly.And, the mattresses were very comfortable. I needed to check for bed bugs, so I took off the protectors. They looked newer. So, that's a plus.Now, let's talk about this hotel...I lived in LC for 15 years, and my hubs was born and raised. We know in the fall and various times through year there are influxes of visitors. This hotel is conveniently located next to the college,and I'm sure over the years it's made A TON OF MONEY. Unfortunately, the owners of this franchise have not put anything back into this place. They have let it crumble. I doubt with the increase in the cost of materials and labor, it 's going to change. I honestly can not believe that Holiday Inn hasn't pulled their name from this property.Here is a list (contributed by my whole family):1. Breakfast = "dog water." The waffles had a "skin" on it. They didn't eat it. And, for me, the coffee was full of grounds.2. The rooms are a disaster. The walls haven't been washed in 20 years, the carpets are thining, pulling from the floor, and very dirty. So is the furniture. There was mold growing in certain spots of the tub. If this place burns to the ground, it's going to be because their exhaust fans are filled with dust and lint.3. YOU HEAR EVERYTHING off the highway. And, don't forget the trains! All hours of the night.4. The elevators seem like they might trap you. No inspection stickers. Sooooo...5. Now, the worst of it, the pool.We showed up to the pool. My youngest jumped in and then got out. But, as I was walking by to turn on the spa, I looked in the water... Green and murky. I have no idea what has happened there and for how long it's been happening. But, all I can think of is Mersa! So, they weren't allowed back in the pool. But, even though the spa didn't work, the water looked clean and clear, so we got in for a bit. The downside was the fact they there were way too many chemicals. It left our skin flaking and extremely dry. The bathroom in the pool area was absolutely disgusting.If you feel the need to stay here, pay the $160 for the suite. I do feel like it's not used as much as the two queen or single king rooms. Leaving it in a tiny bit better shape.If we had been there for more than 1 night, we would have switched hotels. But, it was one night, the beds, linens, and bathroom were clean.All in all, avoid this property. Go to the Courtyard Marriot.

This location is near an active rail line and AC units can be a bit loud. Great helpful staff, IT guy Roger fixed our TV quickly. Breakfast was as good as expected from this chain and everything was fine if not for the noise issues would have given 5 star.

The people were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and neat. The breakfast was very good with a lot of choices.
