I was recommended to this place from someone who had been going for years. I called ahead and the person on the phone was very informative. When I showed up the next morning, the staff was very welcoming and patient with my severe inability to explain the problem with my car (I am NOT a car person). I was given a specific timeline and fair price for a diagnostic to help determine the problem. When I said I needed to get back home while they worked on my car, I was even offered a ride! At almost exactly the amount of time later I was told to expect, I got a call about the results of the diagnostic. I was very surprised and pleased when they were incredibly honest and didn't try to get me to make all sorts of unnecessary repairs. For example, I recently got new tires and that mechanic (from a different business) told me my alignment was terrible and that I should pay them a large sum of money to fix it immediately. The person from Diagnostic Auto Center never mentioned my alignment, so when I asked he explained to me that my alignment wasn't perfect, but that I could go a few more month before it needed to be looked at again so they weren't going to try to convince me to fix it right now. All in all, I had quite a lot of work done on little random things for engine performance (all of which was thoroughly explained to me). I was expecting this to take forever and crash my bank account, but yet again I was given a very clear timeline and price for the work. For the amount and type of work I had done, the price was a lot better than I expected (you have to keep in mind though that NOTHING with cars is ever cheap). I can also say that the quality of their work has been pretty good so far, I can feel a major difference in how my car drives. It will be a while before I know how well their work stands the test of time, so unless I post a follow-up, assume it went well! I do not know how their other services are, but in terms of diagnostics and general maintenance/repair, I would highly recommend Diagnostic Auto Center!
