I haven't been to a Big Lots in years. I've passed by this location many times, but never went in. Finally I did.
The lighting in the store was dim, and the aisles were narrow. The vibe was rather creepy, like I might accidentally fall through a portal into another dimension.
I was looking for bargains. I didn't find any. Everything in this store seemed really expensive to me. Perhaps you could save some money here if you only buy name brands, but I'm not sure. I think you could save more money buying store brands at Walmart.
I thought Big Lots sold close out items. Nothing there looked like a close out to me. Everything looked like regular name brand stuff you'd find on the shelf at any store like Walmart or Dollar General or Family Dollar or even a supermarket.
I didn't buy anything.
None of the workers spoke to me.

They have a good selection, the staff could be friendlier they weren't rude, but I would not call them friendly. They were more neutral, and they were too busy to greet or offer assistance. We saw 5 employees while there and 1 of the five greeted us.

A Great experience with the staff: Chris, Ernesto and Rubin. Very helpful and accommodating. This was a large furniture item. They held the item for a day while I measured the area. And Rubin was exceptional at helping me load it in my car. I haven't opened and placed this yet due to the remodeling. But I am thrilled to have it. Thanks to all. Keep up the good work.

I've always loved Big Lots! This time, I didn't find what I was looking for, was disappointed at the meager Halloween decor, and overwhelmed by the early early Christmas decor. I didn't buy anything. And that says everything.

When I walked into the store I believe you are supposed to be greeted and recognize as a patron apparently if you look Mexican or quote unquote not friendly you will be treated as such as my experience unfolded when I visited there was a larger Latina lady cashier that treated that place like a gas station , after walking in and second white lady was behind which was greeted this was very disheartening for those that would notice , I know it's big lots but bad attitude at the work place doesn't fit we gotta hire better customer service big lots that larger Latina lady seem to bring personal issues to work
