If you like waiting a long time then this bank is for you. With only one person to serve customers apart from the tellers, the wait can seem endless. In addition, for Bank of the West in general, it was impossible to get an additional credit card on the same account. Once again terrible customer service.

I had an issue depositing my pay check this morning, I've been depositing my weekly paychecks since I got my job with no problems until this morning, I called back and spoke to someone who gave me 3 reasons as to why I was unable to cash deposit my check, NONE OF WHICH WERE VALID NOR HAVE I EXPERIENCED BEFORE. After it was made clear that he was not going to help me I had to call the 800 number for clarity on policies regarding cash deposits and payroll check deposits. As it turns out, I was right and the customer service agent apologized for the bank manager and admitted that he was capable of helping me but was not willing probably because I called too close to closing. Terrible customer service on the branch's end.

The ATM machine never lets you make deposits. If I want to make a deposit anytime that the bank is closed, I either have to drive to Anthony or wait till the next day that the bank open. Very inconvenient

What's the point of mobile banking and mobile disputes if you're asked to go talk to your branch? Don't offer these things if they are not fully equipped.

Opened a SAVINGS. I didn't qualify for checking. I got a call 3 days after I opened the account. Risk assessment said my account is closing! ! I had to email documents proving I was a victim of idenity theft which involved another bank way out of this state. After my email I never herd from them. Got my ATM card in the mail. I tried to activate it and I couldn't. I called the bank and I was told it was because they Were going to close it and they automatically canceled the card, they reordered a card for me. I was informed the account would be staying opened. 2 days later I went to the bank to make a small withdrawal from my savings. The risk assessment sent an email and said close my account.. again. They had to get permission to give me a small amount of MY money. They gave it to me. I was informed that I couldn't touch any more of my money until I sent them my tax return documents to prove who I was agian, in addition to them getting copies of my drivers license, social security card upon opening my account and my documents proving idenity theft in more areas of my life that included the ONE bank account among other areas where idenity theft fraud has taken place . I sent them and I was informed when I get my state taxes they are closing my account. Because of idenity theft I proved at another bank involving ONE CHECKING account. Yet I proved I had another savings account before the Bank of the West 4 years in perfect standing always before I closed it. I can't write checks, I am a victim of idenity theft and continue to be a victim of it from places who want to make me pay even more for things I didn't do. This bank never had the respect to call me to inform me of what was going on with my bank account with them. They couldn't keep their word even, on its staying open or closed. They constantly flip flopped when it was convent . I'm still waiting on my state returns. When I go in to withdrawal money, the teller has to get an over ride by a superior to give me my money. Causing me further embarrassment! ! The idenity issue has had NOTHING to do with this bank. It's only complicated my life in every way and in many areas. This bank is helping out a bank they never herd of over an issue I proved I had nothing to do with. I can't write checks. They CHARGE me if my account falls below $300. I can't screw up my account. They offer free money for people to open a checking account. Horrible people, horrible risk assessment employees, horrible bank. My story may seem isolated till this bank screws u over too. I'm stuck at this crappy bank till my income tax return comes in. I have found some wonderful banks. Bank of America offers more, has branches nation wide!! HEED WARNING.. GO ANYWHERE ELSE. BANK OF AMERICA RECOMMEND! !! #worsebankieverdealtwith #imnotalone!

We don't walk inside the bank too often for transactions but when we do, we love the fact that there's never a wait at this branch. We were able to open an account without feeling rushed here. The service is wonderful...very friendly and professional. It's also very convenient as there are a few locations in Las Cruces and surrounding areas and states.
