Does any one work here? I have tried to utilize this location two times and found no one at the counter, lights off, door locked both times. Both times, might I add, were scheduled times. The first to pick up a car and was nearly left stranded after a flight, and the second was upon retuning the vehicle. By far the worst Avis has ever done. I only use Avis/Budget but I don’t think that will be the case any longer. 1000 good experience all undone by 2 bad experiences at the Mesilla Mall location.

The professionalism of the employees is, at best, comparable to that of a fast-food restaurant employee. I want to inform you that my purpose for a visit is to conduct business, and I expect to be treated with respect and dignity. I believe every customer is entitled to a positive experience, and I kindly request that measures be taken to ensure that all interactions with customers are professional and courteous. I identify as a person of transgender experience, and I would like to bring to your attention that I have been repeatedly misgendered with the intent of causing harm. I kindly request that you address this matter and ensure that all employees know the importance of using the correct pronouns and treating all customers with respect. I want to bring to your attention a matter that has caused me significant offense. As a writer, I initially hesitated to raise this issue as I understand there are often more pressing matters to address. However, I feel it is essential to express my concern as I believe it may affect my ability to perform optimally.

Slow and tedious is the trademark of this location. The cars are never ready, dirty, and usually have less gas than marked on the receipt. The service reps are not prepared and usually have to load printer paper or find the keys or some other miscellaneous task and it always takes 30 minutes or more to get your vehicle.

Returned a car. The gentleman had us take pic of gas and odometer and bring in to him. He never went to the car. He never sent us a receipt. Then he charged us 250 cleaning fee after we left unbeknownst to us. Corporate said no notes were made as to why. Don't trust them.Update, while i still don't like this location avis did take care of it. For that I'm pleased

Avis was there for us when Enterprise wasn't. A 2 wk rental for a full size vehicle reserved/ confirmed only to be offered a 2 door mini Cooper instead of the full size vehicle. Avis had a variety of vehicles and they helped us quickly and efficiently!! The excellent service won over a prior 40 yr customer from Enterprise. Avis actually cares!!

As a 30 year member of Avis Prefered/Wizard , I was always charged a good corporate rate. Suddenly it is gone. Then I find out that my wife who has never rented from Avis can get a better rate than an Avis Preferred. So they want to rip off their loyal customers

I requested a small sedan and all they had was a full-sized minimally equipped and featured pickup truck. It was an engine on wheels and the truck clunked each time it changed gears. I've had smoother gear transitions on a mountain bike. Not to mention, the truck bed had 2 boxes and 3 empty water bottles. It noticed while driving on the highway the boxes as they tried to fly out. Ironically I pulled over to empty the truck bed in front of a sign that would charge $300 for littering.Only highlight was the woman who rented me the truck. Her positive attitude tried to hide what a cluster this whole situation was. She deserves a raise since I'm sure she deals with irate customers.

This place provided the very worst car rental experience I have ever endured. The Buick Encore (equivalent to a RAV4, my a**) they dumped on me was filthy, on zero percent oil life, and had a bone-dry washer fluid reservoir. Then they surreptitiously dropped an $80 fee, days later, with no notice. Zero stars from me.

Worst service I have ever received. Drove 60 miles to switch out the garbage car they gave me only to find out the associate was unwilling to try and assist. Cynthia wouldn’t even pull up the computer or anything just simply said I could drive to El Paso because she couldn’t help me. Cynthia, you should do better for your customers shame on you!

Great deals, great customer service. 2 stars because upon pickup car wasn't clean and was low on gas. Not a big deal but it was a little discouraging. I returned the car cleaner than what I got it. Karma, is in my future. I understand that there are busy days, still not a good enough reason to rent a messy car out. I would definitely rent here again and if I receive the same service with a clean car I'll gladly give 5!

The car I had got was not clean on time so I received it dirty. It was a difficult process to return car, it wasn’t a fast and east going process the way it is at other rental spots. The customer service wasn’t good either.

So this is the only place that does a credit check to rent a car if you use debit!!! I’m not keeping the car that is ridiculous. it’s like renting a house!!! I only had this option for renting because everywhere else is booked!!! Last car had from them the oil light came on beeping consistently driving off the lot and they had the nerve to say well it just means oil change is coming up!!! I don’t need to stop at a store to put oil in the vehicle for the real reason it was beeping it was lowwww!!!! Such an inconvenience I was to them to ask if I may trade for another vehicle. The other ones were filthier and no gas!! They are lucky this trip is already paid for or I would have not even gone at all!!! Plus the deposit is freaking high!!! As other places they charge maybe 150.00 the most. Never again after this trip will I come back to Avis!!

We arrived to pick up our car. It was not at the location. They had us wait for over an hour. Horrible service. Called customer service and received no help. Cars are never an available when you requested them. Horrible communication within company! Even if it costs a little more, completely worth going anywhere but Avis!
